Lumber & Karle welcomes you in beautiful and modern surroundings, about 30 km south of Sweden's largest lake, Vänern, in scenic Västra Götaland. About the hotel

Lumber & Karle is located in Västra Götalands län in the cozy village of Kvänum, where the surroundings are characterized by both agriculture and shops. Thus, both rural idyll and charming city life are in store.

Inspired by ancient classicism and the Roman villa, the beautiful hotel offers a good mix of relaxation and activities.

During your stay, you have free access to the hotel's small but exclusive wellness area, where you can pamper yourself with a sauna and Jacuzzi. It is also possible to enjoy a good massage, as long as you book at least three days in advance.

You also have free access to the hotel gym, which includes a treadmill, exercise bike and rowing machine, as well as various weight-training facilities.

You can go bowling in the hotel's own bowling alley with eight lanes, or try your hand at shuffleboard. Bowling and shuffleboard cost a small hourly fee to hire.

Every morning you can wake up to a delicious breakfast in the hotel's delightful restaurant. Breakfast is served from 06:30 to 09:30 on weekdays and from 07:00 to 10:00 on weekends.

The hotel's restaurant combines Swedish traditions with a modern touch, and the cuisine has a strong focus on indulging the eye, palate and soul. Please note that the restaurant is closed on Sundays.

There is free parking directly at the hotel and free wireless internet access during your stay.

Rooms

Lumber & Karle has 45 tastefully decorated rooms that will provide you with a good and comfortable base for your stay. Both single and double rooms are available and it is possible to add up to two extra beds in the double rooms.

All of the hotel's rooms have en suite bathrooms and are equipped with comfortable beds, a seating area, minibar and cable TV. Pets are not allowed in the hotel.
