Insjöns Hotell is located in the middle of the small village Insjön, which has about 2,000 permanent inhabitants. It is only about 1 km. to the beautiful Insjön beach. From the hotel you can easily explore the stunning scenery of Dalarna and visit the many classic Swedish tourist destinations: Mora, Siljan, Rättvik, Orsa and Nusnäs. Dalarna offers plenty of outdoor activities both in summer and winter. There are opportunities for skiing, snow forest walking, canoeing, cycling or just hiking in some of the beautiful nature reserves - you choose.

Insjöns Hotell is a cosy hotel with a bar and a breakfast restaurant. The hotel was built back in the 1920s, to attract tourists to the area. Over the years, new owners have come and the current owners are proud to present a modern hotel with friendly staff, cosy rooms and relaxation in nature.
The reception is manned Monday - Friday 7:00-20:00 and Saturday - Sunday 08:00 - 12:00. The hotel is non-smoking and offers free parking and free wireless internet. A sauna is available for guests in the hotel's basement. The hotel bar is open during the same hours as the reception.

Naturum Dalarna
Naturum Dalarna is one of Sweden's 33 nature reserves. The trademark "naturum" is owned by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and they say that "Naturum is open to everyone and is an opportunity for all ages to learn more about nature and the environment."
Formerly called Naturum Dalarna for Siljansnäs nature reserve, was formed in 1978. The nature reserve has been extended several times and is now 31.5 hectares and includes hilly forest, lush green forest and meadow.
