We have stayed at Hotel Svanen in Kalmar twice for 3-4 nights. We will use the hotel again, there is really a lot to experience both in Kalmar and on Öland in the month of June.

We had 2 nights at the hotel, we were very well received with water and a sandwich and coffee and a welcome bag with apples, a bag of gummy bears, and a map of the city. The breakfast was perfect; there was everything we could wish for, and the room was like a living room with a sofa and table, and the beds were good, and the staff were really nice.

Very nice hotel located a bit on the outskirts of town towards Öland. About a 10-15 minute walk to town. It is nicely situated by the water. The rooms are not very large, but adequate for me as I was alone. The breakfast was good and had very nice freshly baked bread and porridge, delicious jams from Denmark. The staff was very friendly. I would gladly return to this hotel!
