It was a good stay. Only one chair in the room for two people. I missed some drawers so you could unpack your suitcase.

Lemvig
Find a cheap car holiday in Denmark with child-friendly hotels, or find a tavern holiday for two and enjoy a weekend with some good food. Find your trip at Risskov and enjoy the many wonderful experiences that await you. Take a trip to Lemvig, marked by the onion-shaped dome of the beautiful Lemvig Church, decorated by Bodil Kaalund. The Museum of Religious Art is close to Lemvig harbour and from the museum there is a fantastic view over Lemvig town and the fjord. The museum has a permanent exhibition of works from the 20th and 21st centuries, which are either works of art made in a religious context or have an existential basis.
Lemvig harbour is also a nice refreshing experience. The harbour is not far from the city centre and the atmosphere is great. In the middle of the harbour is Matilde's Quay, where the freighter "Mathilde" was moored when it was on regular service between Lemvig and Copenhagen between 1922 and 1949. In the warehouse on the quay there are good shopping facilities and a restaurant where you can enjoy a beer or two. Find a self-drive holiday at Risskov with cheap hotels and great accommodation options.
Struer Museum
The cultural history museum is located in Struer town and offers some of the things that have helped to shape Struer and the surrounding area both nationally and internationally. The museum dates back to 1930, but was rebuilt and extended in 2006. The museum has several permanent exhibitions. Start by discovering the radio and television adventure, Bang & Olufsen, and the cultural history behind the sound and image media. It is also possible to visit the house of author Johannes Buchholtz, which stands as an icon of the 1930s writing scene.
Struer - a railway junction, tells about the first railway that connected Århus, Randers and Struer and about the influence the railway had on Struer's development, and why Struer was called the 'uniform city'. In the exhibition 'Limfjorden on canvas', visitors can enjoy the many landscape paintings from the western part of the Limfjorden, which has always been a great source of inspiration for many artists. Meet well-known artists such as Jens Søndergaard, Knud Agger, Povl Povlsen and many more in Struer Museum. Play, experience and learn more about sound and the senses of hearing in the 'Sound Universe'. Try out some of the many fun experiments such as putting sound on a cartoon or finding out which direction the lion's roar comes from. There are plenty of experiences for all tastes for the whole family at Struer Museum.
JyllandsAkvariet
Take the kids on a family holiday and drive yourself on summer holiday, autumn holiday or winter holiday with Risskov. Catch the crab before it catches you! Dare you hold a crab in your hand, pat a shark on the head or stroke a ray on the back? Go on a self-drive holiday and visit the stirring tanks at JyllandsAkvariet, where you can try all three. You can also go on a reef safari, guided harbour tour or seal safari by boat or tractor bus.
Sea War Museum Jutland
The Sea War Museum Jutland, located in Thyborøn, is a unique Danish museum dedicated to telling international stories, particularly focusing on the First World War in the North Sea. It highlights the Jutland Battle of 1916, one of the largest sea battles in history, which took place off the west coast of Jutland. The museum provides an insightful look into this significant naval event, making it an interesting destination for those keen on maritime and military history.
Thorsminde Beach
Lovely sandy beach next to the North Sea. At Thorsminde Beach, floating lines are laid out in the North Sea in summer. They form a giant "swimming pool", which gives you more safety than at other beaches along the West Coast. Thorsminde is a sandy beach with dunes. The beach has a disability path, where people with walking difficulties and wheelchair users can get closer to the water. There are parking spaces, toilets, a restaurant, kiosk and barbecue right by the beach. A few minutes away there is also a harbour, summer cottages and a campsite and the St George Stranding Museum, which tells the dramatic story of the greatest stranding disaster ever, when 1300 sailors perished in 1811.
Ulfborg
Ulfborg is a cosy station town located 20 kilometres north of Ringkøbing. In the centre of the town you can visit Ulfborg Church and the local library, which was opened in 1997 and contains about 20,000 books and other media. A few kilometres to the west you can see the characteristic red and white 54-metre high windmill, the Tvindmøllen, and to the east you are greeted by a beautiful view of the Jutland heath.
The town is known for the royal privileged Ulfborg Market, which was held for the first time on 21 August 1840. Over the years, the number of visitors has been constantly increasing. If you are interested in visiting the market, it is held every year on the second weekend in August.
