Hotel Strandparken

Hotel Strandparken's central location within Denmark makes it a ideal for a short break. The hotel is just a 45-minute drive from Copenhagen and a 35-minute drive from the ferry terminal in Odden. Located in the middle of the park and right down by the fjord, Hotel Strandparken has a great outdoor setting that is ideal for various games, ball games etc.

About the hotel

At the hotel, there are various games such as konge, croquet and petanque, which are of course free to use. There are plenty of opportunities for running and cycling around the area. Through the park and up into the forest, the hotel has marked out routes of 4.5 and 7 km, so there is something for everyone. The routes can be used for orienteering - on foot or by bike - with or without posts and tasks to be found and solved.

The hotel restaurant overlooks the park and fjord. In the summer, the hotel naturally opens its doors to the outdoor terrace as soon as the weather permits.

The hotel has green fee agreements with 11 golf clubs on Zealand, several of which are located close to the hotel - and the hotel is thus a base for golf stays, for both beginners and experienced golfers. So, ask at the hotel where they can help you.

The hotel also has a lift.

Rooms

The 33 rooms are all equipped with private bathroom and toilet, hairdryer, kettle for free coffee, tea and cocoa, minibar, telephone, TV and free wireless internet. Many of the rooms have views of the fjord and park. Some of the rooms are ensuite and therefore suitable for families with children.

As a novelty, the hotel has started a cooperation with Wa'core, which has provided a waterbed. By sleeping in a waterbed, the water distributes the body's weight and relieves pressure on the back, shoulders and neck. This creates a wonderful weightless sensation and you will toss and turn significantly less and achieve deeper sleep. Waterbeds are also particularly suitable for people with asthma and allergies, because the water mattress can be cleaned with vinyl cleaner and the cover can be washed in a washing machine - thus preventing dust, dust mites and bacteria from penetrating here like ordinary mattresses. If you wish to sleep in a room with a waterbed, this can be requested when booking, but is not guaranteed.
