A slightly worn hotel with a great location almost directly by Lake Garda. Good food and service. Breakfast and dinner are served on the outdoor terrace with a view of the lake.

Finofino…. Nice family hotel, with 23 rooms, with what is needed when NOT catering to families with children… GOOD tone and atmosphere, welcoming staff. We could definitely consider coming back.

Malcesine
Spend the day in Malcesine, which most people refer to as the most charming town on Lake Garda. Well-kept old houses, narrow winding cobbled streets and alleys with a great selection of shops and many outdoor cafés and restaurants create that special atmosphere and ambience. Perfect for a summer holiday and family getaway. In addition to the lovely urban environment, there are fine sights such as the Palazzo dei Capitani and especially the ancient castle of Scaligeri, named after one of its many owners over the years. The castle now houses a museum of the region's flora and fauna as well as a museum of paintings by Goethe. Malcine is an ideal destination for a cheap car holiday in Italy.
San Zeno di Montagna
San Zeno di Montagna is home to about 1,400 inhabitants and is located on Monte Baldo or Mount Baldo. From the historic town there is an incredible view of Lake Garda, the many green olive groves and the surrounding and very majestic mountains. For this reason, San Zeno di Montagna is also a great place for hiking, trekking and climbing.
The city is full of interesting sights, visit for example the Church of St Bartholomew, which dates back to the 16th century, or the beautiful parish church erected in honour of San Zeno. The beautiful bell tower was built in 1788 and the church has undergone a series of renovations and refurbishments, including a new and very impressive altar in 1914.
There are plenty of opportunities to do some shopping in the old town or simply enjoy a Turbiana in one of the town's cafés.
Lake Garda
Lake Garda is the most popular holiday destination for Danes in Italy. Countless generations know about this gem in northern Italy. Here you will find everything you could dream of for the ideal holiday: Impressive and dazzlingly beautiful scenery, charming and atmosphere-filled small towns, picturesque castles , cosy cafés and restaurants, boat trips on the water, fine bathing opportunities and the cultural pearl Verona - Romeo and Juliet's city with the Roman arena.
The surroundings of Lake Garda are stunning and endless, and the excursion possibilities are endless. For example, visit one of the most important buildings in the history of the area, the Castelnuovo di Noarna wine castle. The castle is built on the ruins of an ancient Roman building. The renovation was started in 1974 by Giulio Zani, who took over both the ruins and the surrounding vineyards. The buildings are now carefully restored.
Torbole sul Garda
The pleasant little town of Torbole lies on the north side of Lake Garda, about 3 km east of Riva del Garda, up the slopes of Monte Baldo and as a natural fishing village leaning on the Sacra river delta. The mild climate of the area has today made Torbole, with about 3,000 inhabitants, a popular tourist destination, especially for happy surfing enthusiasts and sailors enjoying the good winds on Lake Garda. The town has a good selection of shops mixed with bars, restaurants and a number of discos. The cosy harbour and 'La Vecchia Dogana', the town's old customs house, are sought-after places to enjoy the last rays of the sun.
Riva del Garda
Riva del Garda is a cozy little town which among other things offers shops, cafés and restaurants, where you can enjoy dining outside. As the name suggests, it lies down to the beautiful Lake Garda.
Arco Castle
It is not known exactly when this magnificent castle, Castello di Arco, was built. But it is said to have been built around 1000 AD. This fascinating castle has an incredible history of battles, sieges, great battles and it has often played a role in the centre of the battle.
A real family tour with great opportunities to explore and get up close to one of the area's absolute hotspots throughout history.
It's also a great opportunity to discover the charming medieval town of Arco, so book a cheap car holiday or weekend break with Risskov and drive yourself straight to these fascinating experiences!
Gardaland
Italy's largest amusement park, Gardaland, can easily entertain you for a whole day! Plenty of rides, dolphin shows, restaurants and much more. This is a good place to go if you have children and childlike souls with you on your holiday!
La Limonaia del Castel
La Limonaia del Castel, located in the charming town of Limone sul Garda, is a fascinating historical lemon house offering a glimpse into the traditional cultivation of citrus fruits in the region. Set on a hillside, this historical lemon house provides captivating views of the lake and mountains. Originally built in the 18th century, its terraced layout, supported by stone walls and wooden structures, showcases how lemons were grown in the region's microclimate. You will love the site if you are seeking a mix of cultural history, nature and panoramic vistas.
Noarna Castle
The wine castle, Castelnuovo di Noarna, is built on the ruins of an ancient Roman building. The renovation was started in 1974 by Giulio Zani, who took over both the ruins and the associated vineyards. The buildings now appear carefully renovated.
Valle dei Laghi
In the beautiful valley area, just behind the unmistakable alpine mountain, Monte Bondone, you will find a magnificent landscape where romantic castles, charming villages and idyllic lakes seem to be strewn with loose hand. This is where Vino Santo Passito wine is produced, as well as various types of Grappa and a wide range of other products.
