Good hotel that had what it needed to be neat and clean, but a bit cold and large, not as cozy as the hotels we are used to staying at. Good breakfast and good location.

Lovely area close to the water and the marina where there are still some fine small fishing boats. Uplifting to see that the original trade is still alive. Charming residential neighborhood that is also an experience to walk in, and nice with the trail system where you can walk almost all the way down to the station without walking on a busy road. The hotel also has its own charm, and we found the staff to be sweet and accommodating. Delicious breakfast and lovely bright surroundings. I really hope the hotel is preserved, and that they choose to modernize instead of tearing down and building anew. But should it happen, I/we can only recommend visiting Hotel Marina at Vedbæk while there is still time.

Nice rooms booked with a view of the water on the 3rd floor, 2 minus information boards at the reception running with food, it's not available on weekends, too few parking spaces when there is an event and party, one could open the basement parking, there are 20 spaces. Regards from Preben and Connie Lerke.

Dyrehavsbakken
Visit Dyrehavsbakken, which is the equivalent of Tivoli - colloquially Bakken. Bakken is an amusement park wrapped in nature, as it is located in the area's largest forest. The amusement park is a paradise for both adults and children. As you enter Dyrehaven, through Klampenborg's red main gate, horse-drawn carriages are waiting to take you around Dyrehaven and past the royal hunting lodge, Eremitage, which sits on the highest point of the Eremitage plain. The park is open from late March to late August every day between 2pm and midnight.
Lyngby
Go on a car holiday in Denmark with Risskov and find cheap hotels for the trip both when it's summer holiday and winter holiday. Find child-friendly hotels near Copenhagen and visit Kongens Lyngby for a bit of shopping. There are great shopping opportunities here, including Magasin du Nord and Lyngby Storcenter.
King's Lyngby is also characterised by the many castles located in the vicinity of the city. Visit Sorgenfri Castle, for example, which has been home to royalty for many generations and where you will find a fine palace garden, most of which is open to the public.
Also visit Sophienholm, which has a lovely location down by Bagsværd Lake. In the immediate vicinity you will also find Marienborg and the Hermitage Palace. Find cheap hotels in the area at Risskov and set off on a trip full of experiences in and near Lyngby.
Louisiana Museum of Modern Art
Take a holiday in Denmark and visit probably the best known museum of modern art. Find a cheap holiday with child-friendly hotels and drive to North Zealand for a great family holiday. Humlebæk is home to the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, one of the leading modern art museums in Scandinavia, with between 6 and 10 different exhibitions each year, as well as a permanent exhibition. The museum is situated with a panoramic view of the Øresund, and it is fair to say that art, nature and architecture all blend together in a unique harmony. Take a walk in the park surrounding Louisiana and enjoy the many works of art that seem at one with their surroundings. There is plenty of space for children to romp around and the museum also offers a very family-friendly range of activities and events for both children and adults. Experimentarium
Find a summer or winter holiday to Copenhagen at Risskov. There's plenty to do and see in the capital, especially if the kids are along for the ride. One of the great experiences is in Hellerup, and after a major renovation, fire and a whole incredible effort, Experimentarium has reopened its doors at its usual address in Tuborg Havn in Hellerup and is an obvious place to visit on a cheap self-drive holiday. The whole of Denmark's science centre is once again ready to surprise and amaze its visitors, who can try out for themselves the many experiments that are just waiting to tell them why, how and what will happen when the basic concepts of science are put to the test. Also try the world's first interactive cinema based on motion sensors, where everyone must help fight the dark mists to help the girl Anna. With brand new exhibitions following its reopening in January 2017, it's no surprise that Experimentarium comes in at a special place on the dining list of great family experiences. For the kids, a whole new world opens up and for the adults, it's nice to shake up the principles at first hand and learn a lot of new things at the same time. Experimentarium is an ideal destination for a family holiday in Denmark.

Strøget
From Rådhuspladsen down to Kongens Nytorv runs the stretch that has been nicknamed 'Strøget'. To be exact, Strøget covers Nygade, Vimmelskaftet, Østergade and Frederiksberggade as well as the three squares: Nytorv, Gammeltorv and Amagertorv. Strøget is best known for its many specialty shops and clothing stores, selling both discount goods and major international brands such as Prada and Hermès. There are countless cafés and bars, not to mention a huge selection of restaurants offering everything from sushi to Parisian steaks. Strøget is though much more than just restaurants and shops. The many jugglers and street musicians complete the picture as well as the many historical buildings along the 'Strøg-Route'.
