Hotell & Konferens Wången has a beautiful location right on Lake Alsen and surrounded by the Jämtland countryside. The hotel has its own riding arena and racecourse and lovely rooms as well as the opportunity to plan a number of active holiday days. After a long day exploring nature, you can rest your feet in the hotel's relaxation area, or in the outdoor jacuzzi.

Wångens Wärdshus serves food based on local ingredients and the home-made specialities from Jämtland are highly prized. Every morning you can start with the hotel's delicious breakfast buffet, where you can lay the foundations for a long day of exciting activities. Lunch and dinner are also served at the hotel.
The hotel has a lovely location in Jämtland and there are several hiking trails to choose from as well as exciting waterfalls. Åre is not far away and is a great place to ski. There are also really good fishing opportunities in the area.

Rooms
Hotell & Konferens Wången has a total of 28 modern rooms, 12 square metres in size, located in the Wangr or Förvaltaren hotel buildings. The rooms are divided into single and double rooms, and it is possible to get up to two extra beds in the double rooms. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. The rooms also have a TV.
Förvaltaren also has a living room on both floors, and on the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with seating for up to eight people.

We had a really nice stay. Everything was top-notch, from the friendly staff to the chef who bakes masterfully to the beautiful location and unlimited access to tea (or coffee and other hot drinks if you prefer), The location is very nice with fine walking paths right next to it and the fantastic Riskov offer was another plus.
