The hotel is located overlooking the city. It is strange that the tourist tax is only payable when leaving the hotel, and that they charge 20 euros when the website states 16.

Perfect for a short break. Very good for active holidaymakers. Göttingen, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg and much more are just one hour away... I will book this hotel again.

Free parking turned out to mean parking at the kerbside on a public road. The hotel probably has around 100 rooms but only about 20 parking spaces, most of which were on a gravel lot.
