Lovely place, great location, but also a bit expensive. We didn't need a whole apartment for 4 people. 2 pensioners could have managed with less, so it might have also been a bit cheaper.

Hotel Christiansminde offers an ideal base for a wonderful holiday on South Funen.

About the hotel 

Hotel Christiansminde has a unique location, directly on the beautiful South Funen Archipelago. Situated just 2 kilometres from the centre of Svendborg and only 350 metres from the popular Christiansminde Beach, you are surrounded by stunning nature and a short distance from the city. 

Enjoy dinner at Restaurant Christiansminde, where sustainability and ecology go hand in hand with delicious dishes inspired by the surrounding forest and beach. In the warm months we recommend a table on the popular terrace. Restaurant Christiansminde has been awarded the Organic Cuisine Bronze Label.

The delicious breakfast offers freshly baked bread, vegetables, cheeses and often local specialties. 

Both children and adults are welcome at Hotel Christiansminde, where you can make use of the beautiful forest paths and the immediate access to the water. The area provides a myriad of experiences all year round. 

Four-legged friends are also welcome in selected rooms. Dogs are provided with a soft dog basket, food and water bowl and dog bags. A small treat is also included. 

Hotel Christiansminde has its own fitness room, which can be used freely by all hotel guests and bicycles can be rented at the hotel. The surrounding nature is made for hiking and cycling, as well as kayaking, diving and sailing.

There is plenty of free parking at the hotel and during your stay you will have free wireless internet access.

Rooms

Hotel Christiansminde has 98 rooms, all of which have in common that they are inspired by the nature around the hotel and exude the atmosphere of Svendborg. Whichever room you choose, you'll have a nice bathroom, your own terrace or balcony and a good internet connection so you can easily share your good experiences. Access to most rooms is via stairs.
