Paradise Hills
On eastern Bornholm you can take a lovely walk in the Paradise Hills, a rugged landscape of cliffs, crevice valleys and stunningly beautiful natural forest. Plant life is extremely rich at the bottom of the valleys and the area offers several beautiful lakes and old bogs. It is also in the paradise hills that you will find Bornholm's largest boulders. The rock stone is currently the only one of Bornholm's three rock stones that can actually rock.
Port of Svaneke
Enjoy the lovely harbour in Denmark's sunniest town, Svaneke. The harbour, which celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2016, offers a wonderful bathing area with a jetty and the remains of the "Barken Svanen" - a wooden ship built over 150 years ago, less than 100 metres away. There are several cosy cafés and eateries close to the quay where you can enjoy life and the lovely atmosphere that surrounds Svaneke Harbour.
Svaneke Water Tower
See the spectacular water tower in Svaneke, designed by the world-famous Danish architect, Jørn Utzon. The three-legged water tower is cast in reinforced concrete, built in 1952 and listed in 1990. The design of the water tower is inspired by the old navigational marks used by ships. In 2004, Svaneke Water Tower was featured on the reverse of the fifth tower coin, a series of 10 special 20-krona coins issued by Danmarks Nationalbank.
NaturBornholm
NaturBornholm is an exciting experience centre for the whole family, where Bornholm's history and nature are communicated through plants, text, animals and pictures. The centre is about 3,000 m² and offers among other things living crocodiles, aquarium, earthquakes and Bornholm dinosaurs. Everywhere there are exciting activities such as electric cars and outdoor play area with GPS tours in the beautiful nature.
Ekkodalen
There are many options for a family holiday in Denmark. Ekkodalen is part of Bornholm's longest crevice valley and is an approximately 12 km long hiking and nature paradise. The crevasses originated more than 1,400 million years ago. There are small streams and lakes, springs and an almost 200-year-old protected forest. At H.C. Ørsted's spring, just west of the car park at Ekkodalhuset, the echo is thought to be particularly strong. Take a trip to Ekkodalen and judge for yourself. Østerlars Round Church
Østerlars Rundkirke is not only the largest round church on Bornholm, but in all of Denmark. It is also believed to be the oldest of Bornholm's four round churches, although the exact year of construction is unknown. Østerlars Rundkirke is central to the theory that there is a connection between the French Order of the Knights Templar and the location of Bornholm's medieval churches.

The Rider's Kid
In the middle of Bornholm stands the Rytterknægten, sticking up out of the surrounding forest. Oluf Høst Museum
Come into the beautiful home of the Danish painter, Oluf Høst, which has been a museum since 1998. Oluf Høst was particularly inspired by the post-impressionist French painter, Paul Cézanne. Around the museum, as well as in the beautiful rock garden behind the building, you can discover various studios. In addition to changing exhibitions, the museum has a cinema and a documentation section where Høst's life and person are presented through photographs, films and texts.

Go on a summer holiday on Bornholm with the whole family and experience the impressive birds of prey show in Rønne. Surrounded by lakes, streams and cliffs, you can watch owls, eagles, vultures and falcons as they fly freely around you.
