The food is for meat lovers. No fish was served at all (despite there being plenty of fish available on the island) or vegetarian options. We asked. However, this was somewhat offset by the fact that the salad buffet was good.

Points of interests
Christiansø
Take a delightful trip to Denmark's unique archipelago of Ertholmene and visit Christian V's fascinating fortress from 1684. The fortifications are extremely well preserved and largely untouched, being listed. On Christiansø you will find yourself far away from the traffic and noise, in the middle of Denmark's only archipelago. Experience the island's stunning scenery, with eider ducks and silver gulls galore. It is possible throughout the year to get to Christiansø from Gudhjem.
Allinge Havn
Enjoy a walk around the beautiful and eternally charming Allinge Harbour, which is carved out of the rocks. There is a cozy café atmosphere and plenty of lovely restaurants and small shops. During the spring and summer there is a jazz festival and market in Allinge.
Hammerknuden
Hammerknuden offers some of the best hiking you can get on the beautiful island, with rounded cliffs, heather, rocky valleys and forests as far as the eye can see. On your way around the 182-hectare circular cliff, you may come across Solomon's Chapel, among others. The chapel is located right on the coast and dates back to the Middle Ages.
Bornholm Technical Collection
Find a child-friendly hotel on Bornholm at Risskov and take the whole family to the lovely island, where lots of adventures await. There's no need to resist when Bornholm's Technical Collection gets the nostalgia pumping. The 4,000 m² farm museum houses everything from old machines, furniture and vehicles to radios, farming tools and toys from when Grandpa was a child. Find a last minute hotel and enjoy a family holiday on Bornholm.
Hammer Lighthouse (Hammer Fyr)
Hammeren Lighthouse, positioned on the highest elevation of Hammerknuden in Bornholm, Denmark. Built in 1872 from locally quarried granite, the lighthouse stands 82 meters above sea level. Its unique location sometimes causes its light to be obscured by low clouds or fog, leading to the construction of the smaller Hammerodde Lighthouse in 1895 for additional navigational aid. No longer in regular service since 1990, Hammeren Lighthouse still shines at night and is open to the public, offering free entry and a stunning panoramic view of North Bornholm and the Southeast coast of Sweden.
Olsk Round Church
The 26-metre-high Olsker Rundkirke is the tallest of the four round churches on Bornholm. The church was built around 1150, but has been rebuilt and strengthened several times over the years - most recently in the mid-1900s, when the altarpiece was replaced. In this elegant round church, the staff in the porch are happy to answer questions and tell you about the church's past as a defensive fortification.
Hammershus
Hammershus is one of Bornholm's great landmarks. The old castle ruin is believed to have been built by the church authorities in collaboration with Valdemar Sejr, back in the early 1200s. Hammershus is Northern Europe's largest castle ruin and is majestically situated on a 74-metre high, steep rocky outcrop. A family holiday on Bornholm with a visit to Hammershus is an experience you'll never forget.
Jon's Chapel
Jon's Chapel is a rock cave, also known as a "dry kiln", formed as a result of the waves repeatedly hitting the rock. Jon was sent to the island to spread Christianity. He lived in this cave where curious Bornholmers came down to visit him. He told stories from the Bible and soon the crowds were so large that space in the cave became cramped. So he stood on the rock and continued preaching from there so that everyone could hear him. Later, a pulpit was carved on top of the rock where, according to the story, Jon had stood.
Shrine cliffs at Bornholm Art Museum
Go on an island holiday or mini break on Bornholm and discover the beautiful Helligdomsklipper, north of Rø. The cliffs are the amazing result of thousands of years of weathering and stand today as cracked and torn, with deep caves and unusual shapes. The area was once a place of pilgrimage, with a sacred spring at the base of the coastal cliff. Also visit Bornholm's Art Museum, which has large collections of paintings, handicrafts and sculptures with links to Bornholm. Special exhibitions of various kinds are also regularly held.
Gudhjem
Gudhjem is a unique little gem of a mountain town on Nordbornholm, and has around 700 inhabitants. Here you can climb Bokul, a 48-metre-high mountain massif. From the top you get a fantastic view over the roofs of the town and the beautiful Nørresand Harbour. Throughout the year there are sailing trips between Gudhjem and Christiansø.
