The Paddan Boats

Liseberg Amusement Park

Volvo Museum

In the 1970s, Volvo was actually Sweden's second biggest export after Abba.... Mamma mia !!

If you're even a little interested in four-wheeled vehicles, drop by the museum, which helps tell the story of the Swedes and Sweden's social development from 1927 to the present day. In the gift shop you can even buy a little piece of Volvo to take home - toy cars, books and promotional items.

New Ävlsborg fortress

New Älvsborg Fortress is located on a small island at the entrance to Gothenburg, and it takes about 30 minutes to get there by boat from Lilla Bommen. The fortress is one of the most popular destinations for historical enthusiasts and the island has well-maintained walking trails for both children and adults.

Christmas market in Liseberg

The Liseberg Christmas Market in Gothenburg is the largest of its kind in Scandinavia.
