Overall a good hotel. Unfortunately, only a small sauna (3 people, sitting) for such a large house. No fridge and no kettle in the room. Everything else was good.

Set in the former Handelshof building, the hotel offers a wonderful atmosphere, combining old and new with modern interiors in a historic setting. Many of the building's original features have been carefully preserved, such as the large oak doors, wooden wall panelling and stucco details.

Here you can discover the city's old cathedral, the beautiful Marienkirche and the Kolosseum concert hall, all surrounded by the waters of the Trave River, which flows into the Baltic Sea to the northeast. The water actually flows right past the popular Travemünde district, which can be reached by a short drive from the hotel.
