Fjelsted Skov Hotel

The family-run Fjelsted Skov Hotel is located in peaceful surroundings near Ejby on Funen, just a short drive from Middelfart and conveniently close to the E20 motorway. Surrounded by forest, meadows, and open fields, the hotel offers a tranquil base for exploring the region.

The hotel offers

The hotel is now run by the third generation of the founding family and has a warm and relaxed atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. The property is set in scenic surroundings with its own lake, forest trails, and green areas – ideal for a morning walk, a run, or simply a quiet moment outdoors.

From Tuesday to Saturday, an evening buffet is offered from 17:30–20:30 with a wide selection of both cold and hot dishes.

Fjelsted Skov Hotel also has red deer, goats, and sheep on the grounds, and the family’s care for nature is reflected in their sustainable initiatives and use of local ingredients. Free parking and WiFi are available for all guests.

It is only a short drive to Middelfart, known for its coastal charm, historic architecture, and the Little Belt Bridge, where you can try bridgewalking or go whale watching. Odense, about 30 kilometers away, offers Hans Christian Andersen’s birthplace, cozy pedestrian streets, museums, and lively cafés.

The hotel offers 101 bright and functional rooms in low-rise buildings separated from the reception and café. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, free WiFi, and a large flat-screen TV.

If you want a room with a terrace or balcony, you should stay in building D, and if you want a guaranteed view either of our red deer or the green areas, you should choose building E.
