Fårup Skovhus

About the hotel

Fårup Skovhus offers plenty of history, green surroundings and delicious food. Fårup Skovhus is a hotel with 27 rooms, an extension with function rooms and a new state-of-the-art kitchen. The area around the forest house has also been modernised, so that in summer, it is possible to sit out on the terrace at the edge of the forest. Not everything has been refurbished, however, and the first room you enter is the old schoolroom. Every Thursday you are invited to Thursday Pork, where the menu consists of traditional smoked pork, breaded pork and crispy roast pork served with potatoes, beetroot and parsley sauce (with very few exceptions). At Fårup Skovhus, there is a large outdoor area where children can run and play, and there is also a small playground. In summer, the restaurant usually serves a buffet. You can also take the kids to the safari mini golf course 1 km from Fårup Skovhus. It is recommended to check in and park your car before 5pm, as the car park is often full around dinner time.

Rooms

In 1999, Skovhuset built a brand new and modern room wing, where the rooms are located side by side in the larger cabins. Outside each room there is a small café table where you can enjoy a refreshment while the children play in the playground just outside the door. The rooms have a private bathroom (shower), desk, TV, double bed and a loft with 2 additional beds. You have to climb a steep ladder to reach the loft.
