There is only good things to say about Elite Stadshotell in Växjö. Friendly staff and nice rooms. Good plentiful breakfast and good food in the restaurant. Excellent location in the center.

Elite Stadshotellet Växjö is the city's largest and oldest hotel, located on Stortorget. It offers you a central and comfortable base in a classic hotel environment for a weekend or a mini break in Småland.

About the hotel

The 4-star hotel is located in the centre of Växjö and is housed in a beautiful building from the 1870s. The city's shops and sights are just a stone's throw away.

A generous buffet breakfast is served each morning, and dinner is served in the hotel's gastropub, The Bishops Arms. 

Guests can work out for free in a nearby fitness centre. The hotel also offers bicycle rental (limited number).

Explore Småland Växjö and walk around the city centre, where you can visit the cathedral, galleries, museums and the Linnaeus Garden. Take a trip to Småland Museum, the Swedish Glass Museum, Teleborg Castle and Bergkvara and Kronoberg Castle Ruin. Enjoy the sun and swimming at Helgasjön beach or Evedal swimming pool. Walk around the beautiful lake Växjösjön or enjoy cycling part of the scenic South East Trail, a total of 27 km, located next to Växjö.

Public parking is available next to the hotel. Free Wi-Fi is available.
