Best Western Vrigstad

Best Western Hotell Vrigstad is a cosy and well-known hotel with a good atmosphere and a really nice location in the forests of Småland. Here you will stay among the great attractions of Småland, namely High Chaparall and Astrid Lindgren's World, and it is also not far to Jönköping, Glasriket and Småland's elk parks, where you can go on an elk safari and get close to the impressive animals in their natural surroundings.

About the hotel

Best Western Hotell Vrigstad is beautifully situated in the middle of Småland, close to Sävsjö and several lovely villages. The modern hotel has many facilities, and a lovely restaurant that serves a really good buffet breakfast every morning. Right next to the hotel is the Bulls Steakhouse restaurant, which serves both lunch and dinner. Bulls Steakhouse is a concept restaurant, where the ingredients come from various farms in Småland. The menus change according to the season, but it is the Småland cuisine that forms the framework around the exquisite dishes. There is also a bar at the hotel where you can enjoy a drink before sitting down to dinner.

The hotel also houses a cosy relaxation area with an outdoor swimming pool and sauna. The outdoor pool measures 5x10 metres and is heated to around 25 degrees. There are also sun loungers where you can relax and soak up the sun or swim in the pool, which is open from June to September and is free for hotel guests. If you like to work out, the hotel has a partnership with Power Athletics Gym, which is just 50 metres from the hotel and free of charge. You can also rent bikes at the hotel, so why not leave the car behind while you explore nature on two wheels.

Rooms

The hotel has 54 rooms, all of which are around 20 sqm and most of which are newly renovated. The rooms are decorated in the style of the surroundings in Småland and with furniture from local suppliers. All rooms are on the ground floor and surrounded by a green area. Some of the rooms are also close to the lovely pool area. You can choose between single and double rooms and it is possible to have up to two extra beds in the double rooms. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with hairdryers, new comfortable beds, 42" LED TVs, hot water boilers, telephones and minibars. There is also an iron and ironing board in most rooms, otherwise you can borrow it from reception. You can also bring a pet on holiday and in the room for a fee, but this must be booked in advance.
