The double room we got should have been a single room. There was barely space for each of us to have a suitcase. The hotel is located in a beautiful setting where it's easy to feel comfortable.

We walked Ester's trail in the forest. No enchanted forest and the path was broken. Nice swim in the lake and a relaxing sauna. We are very satisfied.

As overnight guests, you have access to the hotel's own hiking and cycling trails, as well as a sauna, swimming area, outdoor gym and rental of bicycles and canoes. Lake Bunn is only a stone's throw from the hotel and with a canoe you can paddle around the lake and the magical canals that connect lakes Bunn, Öre and Kvarnsjön.
During your stay, you also have good opportunities to explore Gränna and learn more about the production of polka pigs, hike along the John Bauerleden that stretches between Huskvarna and Gränna, visit the ruins of Visingsborg on Visingsö or Åsens village, Sweden's first cultural reserve that offers a time travel back to the beginning of the 20th century.

A really lovely place with good rooms - and the staff are really nice, accommodating and helpful.
Beautiful and tasty food.
The area is very suitable for cycling and hiking.
The helpful staff did everything they could to accommodate us and our wishes. It was a really positive experience. We are happy to come again for the 3rd time. We have now been there both winter and summer. So maybe next time we should try an autumn trip. 😉
