About the hotel

The 3-star Amigo Hotel is just 500 metres from the city centre of Emmaboda. The town is located between Växjö, Kalmar and Karlskrona, in the so-called 'three-state region'. In Emmaboda and the surrounding area there is cultural history nature and shopping.

Go out into the beautiful natural surroundings of the Lyckebyån, idyllic woodlands and pristine lakes. The area offers great opportunities for activities such as fishing, canoeing and kayaking, hiking and cycling. If you like golf you will also find Emmaboda Golf Club within a short drive of the hotel.

Emmaboda is also located in the middle of the famous 'Kingdom of Glass' which offers several famous glassworks. Visit for example Kosta Boda and Åfors or Johanforshyttan, where you can buy the famous Astrakan apple and other colourful glass products. Or stop by Duvemåla, Klastorpet or Moshultamåla. Gamla Skola, all of which have links to the author Vilhelm Moberg. A delicious buffet breakfast is served every morning.
