Helsingborg is a Scanian city located at the narrowest part of Öresund where it is only 3 750 meters to Helsingör in Denmark. Here you can visit the Kärnan tower, which is the only remaining building from the medieval castle of Helsingborg, built in the early 14th century. The tower is 35 meters high and can be accessed via a narrow spiral staircase. There are also many public sculptures and works of art in the city and there is a guide who will tell you more about 86 of the works of art and guide you around the city to visit all the works on foot. Perhaps you will walk via Kullagatan, which was the first shopping street in Sweden to be turned into a pedestrian street. There are also many parks and green areas in the city, the most famous of which are the two unique gardens Sofiero Castle and Castle Garden and Fredriksdal Museums and Gardens.
