This hotel offers a genuine inn feel with friendly service and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is a short distance from some of the area's most popular golf courses around Halmstad. The area is characterised by scenic hiking trails and bodies of water with huge rainbow trout suitable for sport fishing also within minutes.
In the hotel restaurant you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in cosy surroundings.
In summer, the hotel's swimming pool is a great place to cool off. The pool is accompanied by a lovely sun terrace with many comfortable sun loungers.
The hotel also has a large garden suitable for most games and sports activities.
There is free private parking on site and free wireless internet access.

At this charming hotel you can stay in one of the eight rooms in the main building or in one of the log cabins.
The hotel has 8 standard rooms in the main building, all of which are rustically and romantically decorated in warm colours and fabrics and equipped with a desk and TV. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the standard rooms.
The hotel also has 10 log cabins, which are adapted to nature. The cabins are approximately 65 m² with 2 double bedrooms (no bunk beds), a large generous living room with TV and large dining table, kitchenette, bathroom and toilet. All cabins have a private terrace. It is possible to bring a dog if you book a stay in the cottages.
Please note that the cabins are not accessible for disabled guests. They are located around the pool and it is not possible to drive up to them.

Hotel notes
The hotel restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings. Guests staying over a Sunday will be given a 2-course dinner on one of the other days.
The hotel's outdoor pool is only open in summer.
Please note that during the summer season, you’ll need to bring your own towels for the pool and the beach.
The stay includes a final cleaning, which means that beds will not be made and towels will not be changed during the stay. New towels can be collected from reception, for a fee if required.
The cabins: bed linen is included, however the kitchen including fridge, oven and utensils must be cleaned before departure.
The hotel has 2 and 4-person cabins. When staying in these cabins, you must pay for 2 or 4 persons.
All rooms and cabins are located on the ground floor.
Check-in is possible from 15:00-18:00. However, if you have booked a hotel room, you can check in from 14:00-18:00.

Danske Vandfald
The name "Danish Waterfall" comes from the battle at Fyllebro on 17 August 1676 between Denmark and Sweden, when Charles XI reigned. According to the story, the Swedes cut down the suspension bridge while the Danes were on the bridge. The area is a very beautiful nature reserve that stretches south along Söderåsen!
Hallandsstien
Hallandsleden or Halland Trail is a 360 km long hiking trail through Halland. Hallandsstien is adjacent to Skånestien in the south and Bohusstien in the north. On its way through Halland, the trail splits in eastern and western direction at Simlångsgården. Both sections meet again in the Åkulla area. From Varberg you can follow "Europaled 1" and join the other parts of the Halland trail just before Åkulla.
So remember your walking shoes, even if you're on a car holiday!
Habeltorpasjön (or Bredaredssøen)
If you like to fish, you should bring your gear on a weekend break or car holiday in southern Sweden. In Lake Bredared you can fish for perch, pike and eel and boats are available for hire. There is a bathing bay with a jetty, barbecue and disabled-friendly outhouse. A fishing licence is required to fish in this area.

50 km from Markeryd you will find the west coast city of Halmstad with its 66,000 inhabitants. Here you will find a myriad of fine restaurants and cosy cafés. We also recommend a stroll through the streets of the inner city. It is particularly lovely here in summer with its close proximity to beaches such as the well-known and popular town of Tylösand, which is a must to visit on a holiday by car. The town offers something for the whole family. Everything from a trip to the museum, art and shopping to relaxing in the city parks and visiting the playgrounds.

Svedinos Car and Aircraft Museum in Ugglarp has one of Europe's largest collections of vintage cars and aircraft. The collection contains over 100 cars and around 40 aircraft. Few things have fascinated people as much as being able to fly, and here you can experience this fascination at close quarters, from the early development of the aeroplane modelled on the bird to today's modern jet fighter. You'll also hear about the exciting history and development of the car through the 20th century.
Båstad
