Strandflickorna hotell in Lysekil consists of several houses from turn of the century, which have undergone a careful renovation with the ambition of, to restore the original splendour of the houses. This has been achieved by using modern Jugend-style furniture and lots of pearl ornaments. The beach villa, where rooms, has been used as a hotel since 1894, when it was as a holiday resort for the city's most distinguished guests; at the time it was the finest hotel in town. The original charm and atmosphere are mixed with modern details and amenities expected of a modern hotel.

Every morning the hotel serves a delicious breakfast in the cosy surroundings. The hotel restaurant, called 'Fröken Fridhem', is located in the main building and offers a unique atmosphere in its early century. The bar is located in the restaurant's lounge, where you can order a good drink at the green marble bar.

The hotel is next to the House of the Sea - a saltwater aquarium, which is a very popular destination for the whole family. In the animal park 'Nordens Ark', which is about 30 km from the hotel, you can meet endangered animals from world. You can of course also enjoy the excellent bathing facilities at the public bathing bridge near the hotel, where you will also find a sea-themed mini golf course.

Rooms

The rooms are located in the hotel's annex called 'Strandvillaen'. You can choose between single and double rooms, and it is possible to book double rooms with an extra bed. The extra bed is mounted on the wall and can easily be folded down when needed.
