National Park Thy is called "Denmark's last wilderness". The national park stretches from the lighthouse in Hanstholm and 50 km along the west coast to Agger Tange. The national park offers unique natural surroundings characterised by open spaces, untouched nature, silence and rare habitats. Museumcenter Hanstholm was part of the Atlantic Wall and was part of the Germans' probably strongest fortress in Northern Europe during WW2. World War. The 'Hanstholm Fortress' was a very large bunker that housed about 90 German soldiers and a 38 cm cannon. Find out how the German soldiers lived in the bunker and also visit the other exciting exhibitions and learn about the German battleship 'Bismarck' and the fearsome 38 cm cannons that were specially built for the large battleship. Take a ride on the 'ammunition train' and also visit the modern exhibition building, the 'Documentation Centre', which includes an interesting exhibition about the work that went on in the bunker and the weapons that were used.

Mors
Go on a family holiday in Denmark with Risskov and discover the many exciting places hidden around. Nykøbing Mors is one of the many beautiful Danish towns that can easily be visited. Mors, also known as the pearl of the Limfjord, is an island connected across the Thy via the Vilsund Bridge and from Salling via the Sallingsund Bridge. Like Fur, the 151 km coastline also has the characteristic slopes, with various historical layers and both fossilised animals and plants and perhaps a little coprolite. Mors also offers unique scenery and there is the beautiful Dueholm Monastery as well as the Moler Museum and the Danish Foundry Museum, which certainly deserve a visit. Find a cheap hotel at Risskov and take the whole family to Mors.
Nykøbing Mors
The beautiful island has a 151 km long coastline, with embankments of breakwaters topping the water and revealing a little about the landslides that have helped shape Mors as it looks today. There are plenty of fossils and various fossils in the moler, so if you've brought your wellies, try to make the trip out to Hanklit.
The beautiful old town always has a lot of events going on and in June the Seafood Festival is held, serving delicacies fresh from the sea. A great opportunity to sample Danish produce as close to the sea as possible, and also a great opportunity to experience Nykøbing's busy harbour.
Spøttrup Medieval Castle
It is probably the best preserved medieval castle in the Danish Kingdom and dates back to the early 16th century. There is plenty of opportunity to explore a real castle with castle towers, a knights' hall and a church room and everything that belonged to the Middle Ages. The very thick walls of the castle and the many defences give a good insight into daily life in the castle, also a clear idea of how a castle could best defend itself against attacking enemies. There is also a very beautiful garden at the castle, where among other things medicinal herbs are grown and right in front of the castle is Spøttrup Lake, which among other things is known for its many birds. Various activities are held throughout the year to help bring the castle's history to life. Bring the whole family along when you visit this incredible medieval castle, where the experiences are just waiting to be discovered.
There is also an annual Christmas market in December, with Christmas music, tasty treats and exquisite specialities sold from the many inviting Christmas stalls.
