Skagen Motel

The hotel has been open since the late 80s and previously served as the local fire station. The building has undergone several renovations and this has resulted in a lovely and fresh motel with a great location in the middle of the beautiful North Jutland countryside.

About the hotel

The beautiful location, in central Skagen, offers plenty of opportunities to spend time by the sea and in the surrounding nature. Rent a bike and take a trip with the family to visit some of the exciting places in the North Jutland dunes.

The motel serves a hearty buffet breakfast, perfect for getting the basics down before the day really gets going. Dinner is served at Foldens Hotel, not far from Skagen Motel.

When the weather is nice, you can relax on the terrace, otherwise you can rent a bike, there are also electric bikes and maybe you want to try a tandem. There are plenty of opportunities to explore the area on foot too. Skagen harbour is not far from the motel and the sandy church can also easily be reached by bike. Skagen train station is about a 15-minute walk from the motel.

Rooms

The bright décor of the rooms gives them a fresh look. Each has its own sofa and other rooms have a desk and wardrobe. Skagen Motel offers several sizes, depending on how many you are. There are double rooms with 1 or 2 extra beds as well as single rooms. The rooms have a TV and a private bathroom with shower. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the rooms. Two nights or more include breakfast and the daily special at Foldens Hotel.
