Cosy hotel by the Vallekilen in Åmli. This is the perfect starting point for nature experiences, activities, art and culture on Åmli. Pan Garden is located just outside Åmli and about 6 kilometres from the coast. With its proximity to the beautiful Vallekilen, there are many opportunities for activities for the whole family. In Åmli you have both beautiful lakes, golf courses and ski areas within comfortable driving distance from the hotel.
About the hotel
Hotels offer comfortable accommodation in hotel rooms, apartments or tents. They also have space for camper vans. Just 200 metres from the hotel you will find the beach at Vallekillen, where you can swim, sunbathe and even fish for trout and perch. You can also hire a canoe and paddle along the banks of the Nidelven. The area also offers great opportunities for hiking and cycling through the beautiful Norwegian countryside.
In winter, the conditions are excellent for ice fishing and cross-country skiing.
The hotel is child-friendly and has a playground and playroom. The restaurant offers an evening meal and you can have a drink in their bar.
Free parking is available for guests at the Pan Garden. They also offer their guests free internet and the possibility to rent bicycles.

Hiking along the Trogfjell path
Trogfjellstien is a path with a cultural and historical theme. Starting from Åmil and Elvarheim Museum, you walk up the mountain over a famous stone bridge, one of the oldest of its kind in Northern Europe. There is also a 55 km long cross-country skiing trail.
