We had booked a short vacation over the Easter holidays and were very satisfied.
The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful, and the Easter brunch was unique.
The room is cozy and clean.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is something you wish for everywhere.

Nice hotel - clean and with a good location.
The food was served at a restaurant which was a short 15-minute walk away from the hotel. It seemed like we were given lower priority compared to the restaurant's outside guests. Waited 45 minutes to order drinks, and the predetermined menu came over an hour after our arrival despite the restaurant knowing our arrival time in advance.

We had upgraded the rooms, so we thought they were really good. We have been here before when it was the standard rooms.
The restaurant, which this time was moved to ConventGarten, was a really good experience with a lovely view over the canal and the food was top-notch.

Really lovely stay at ONNO hotel in Rendsburg. Good beds, super internet, good breakfast. We had to drive to Covent Garden for dinner, which was a really good experience, the food tasted good, with a full view of the Kiel Canal. A really good stay.
The only thing is that the parking lot for the hotel is a short distance away. About 3 minutes.

Really nice hotel and package. The only small downside is the fixed menus from the restaurant, so if you're a bit picky, you might not get full. If you like the food, it's really nice. Perhaps there could be two different menus to choose from. Another thing was dining at Convent Garden, where despite it being 8 PM, it didn't seem like they were expecting us, so we were sent a bit in circles before we were finally seated.

Great value for the money, not always a staffed reception but you could call and someone would come. Nice Greek restaurant around the corner. There were elevators. You could buy drinks in the common room and write them up.

A lovely hotel where almost everything was top-notch. The breakfast was superb, welcoming staff, and a lovely courtyard with furniture for relaxation and a sweet bar car where drinks can be purchased at very reasonable prices. The hotel's collaboration with the delightful restaurant Drei, just a few minutes' walk away, should be praised. Delicious food, friendly staff, great surroundings. The only thing we wished was different was the access to the common area, which was also the breakfast restaurant. We were two couples who, after an excellent dinner at restaurant Drei, wanted to end the day with a drink and a quiet card game in the hotel's common area. The bar closed at 10 p.m., but the receptionist said we could get drinks a little further down the street at their beer house and bring them to the hotel's common area. The next days we returned to the hotel at 9:30 p.m., where we were told it was closing soon, and then everything was locked at 10:00 p.m. So the only option was to be in the room, where there were no chairs for four. But definitely worth recommending!

Rendsburg
Right in the middle of Schleswig-Holstein on the Kiel Canal lies Rendsburg. This exciting town has a lot to offer and is ideal for a family visit. The blue line, which is part of the cityscape, leads its guests on an approximately 3.2 km tour around the inner city past the most interesting places and buildings in Rendsburg. These include the Jewish Museum in the Dr. Bamberghus in Prinsessegade, which tells about the history and cultural history of the Jews in the German duchies, a very interesting exhibition that takes its visitors on a social and art historical journey through the life of the German Jews. Another stop on the Blue Line is Sankt Marienkirche, a medieval church built around 1330. The church is characterised by the Baroque baptismal font from the 18th century, the high altar and the royal box, dedicated to Frederik IV with very beautiful carved chairs and of course the high altar, created in 1647 by Henning Clausen. Another stop on the route is the Old Town Hall from 1566, which can be visited, but only with a guide. Also take a closer look at the old railway bridge.
Sailing on the Kiel Canal
Take a cruise on the Kiel Canal from Rendsborg to Kiel and discover Northern Germany from the sea. The Kiel Canal runs through northern Germany from Kiel on the Baltic Sea to Brunsbüttel on the North Sea and is therefore also called the Kiel Canal. Experience the beautiful scenery and the large container ships and cruise liners passing by on the busy canal. Between Rendsborg and Kiel you can sail with the M/S Princess or the over one hundred year old wheel steamer Freya. It is possible to buy refreshments on board.
Seawater wave pool Eckernförde
If you like spa, wellness and pampering, a wellness holiday to Eckernförde in Northern Germany might be for you. Eckernförde is today mostly based on spa and wellness tourism and here you will find Meerwasser-Wellenbad Eckernförde which definitely deserves a visit - whether with or without the family. Meerwasser-Wellenbad offers a veritable hodgepodge of wellness experiences with Turkish and Finnish saunas, a snow room as well as a salt cave and various kinds of massages and of course plenty of water, both chlorine and salt water pools, as well as activities for the kids. A visit to the on-site bistro is also not to be denied, should hunger get the better of you. It serves both snacks and hot dishes, as well as drinks. Meerwasser-Wellenbad Eckernförde is therefore an ideal destination for a cheap car holiday in Germany.
Gottorp Slot
Visit Gottorp Castle with its beautiful baroque gardens and three art museums; the National Museum of Art, Cultural History and Archaeology.
The castle is located at the bottom of the river Slien and has played an important role in the many wars between the Danish kings and the Gottorp dukes.
Frederik I also ruled Denmark from Gottorp Castle.
Botanical Garden Kiel
Kiel in northern Germany is certainly not a city to be underestimated, packed with history, an exciting harbour and perfect for a self-drive holiday in northern Germany. Take a family holiday to the area and find a cheap, child-friendly hotel with Risskov. Kiel's large beautiful botanical garden surrounds Christian Albrecht University. The garden has seven greenhouses, with all kinds of exciting and exotic plants, divided into climatic themes. At certain times of the year, you may also be lucky enough to see butterflies. Find cheap mini breaks and child-friendly hotels in the area at Risskov and enjoy a family holiday together in the exciting northern German city of Kiel.
Outlet centre McArthurGlen Neumünster
Take a shopping day to the outlet centre McArthurGlen in Neumünster, where you can shop your favourite designer brands discounted by 30-70% all year round. Here you'll find a great selection of clothing, accessories and footwear, elegant home goods and smart sportswear. Explore great brands and lots of new trends.
Friedrichstadt
Friedrichstadt looks very much like a typical Dutch canal town. That's why this romantic little town is called "Little Amsterdam". The town was built by the Dutch in 1621, where the rivers Ejderen and Treene flow together. Picturesque serrated gables and beautiful facades are reflected in the canals, and the houses are filled with carvings on doors and windows. The Dutch emblazoned the winding streets of the town, which intersect.
