Lake tour in the Holsteinische Schweiz Nature Park

Take a boat tour of the Holsteinische Schweiz nature park in northern Germany. The tour is about 12 km long and takes you across the five lakes Dieksee, Langensee, Behlersee, Höftsee and Edebergsee in about two hours. Bad Malente

Go on a driving holiday in Germany and visit the Malente region, located in eastern Schleswig-Holstein and home to just over 10,000 inhabitants. Take a walk in the beautiful "Holstein Switzerland". You might pass the 24-metre-high Holzberg Tower, from where you can get a fantastic panoramic view over the two large lakes, Dieksee and Kellersee, on either side of the tower. Eutin

Eutin is a more than 1000 year old town, with several of the houses in the inner town more than 300 years old. While you are in town, you should also visit the Eutin Castle, which is a museum today where you can have an interesting tour. Plön

When you arrive in Plön, the first thing you see is the beautiful castle: grand and snow-white, the beautiful building towers over the town. The Renaissance castle was built back in the 17th century and was the seat of the Dukes of Plön until 1761. In the 1800s, the castle was also the summer residence of Crown Prince Frederik, later Frederik VIII.

Lütjenburg

Hohwacht

Between Kiel and Lübeck in the untouched nature of the Baltic Sea lies Hohwacht surrounded by old beech forests, 127 km south of the Danish border. Neustadt in Holstein

The town of Neustadt in Holstein is a cosy little port town on the Baltic coast. The town is steeped in history and there are plenty of sights to take in, not to mention the beautiful Stadtkirche Neustadt church, the many small shops and the vibrant café life, as well as a good selection of lovely restaurants serving up all things good from the sea.

Lübeck
