Teleborg Castle

Situated near Lake Trummen in Växjö, Sweden, Teleborg Castle is a picturesque architectural landmark built in 1900. Huseby Bruk

Huseby Bruk is a well-preserved 19th-century ironworks estate located 20 kilometers south of Växjö, Sweden. Donkey National Park

In the western end of the Swedish lake, Åsnen, you will find the beautiful Åsnens National Park, which covers an area of more than 1,800 hectares. Linnaeus Råshult

Discover the exciting cultural reserve, Linnés Råshult, located in Diö. Here you can explore 42 hectares of landscape with hiking trails, beautiful gardens from the 18th century and various events, all with a common that goes back to the famous Swedish naturalist, Carl von Linné. It is also possible to visit Linnaeus' birthplace and childhood home.

Laganland Moose Park

Visit the king of the forest during your car holiday and take the whole family on a moose safari in the forests of Småland. Laganland Älgpark is one of Småland's most popular moose parks, located in the small town of Lagan in the centre of Småland. Here visitors get the chance to get up close to the magnificent animals and watch the moose being fed. The park consists of six hectares of woodland but during opening hours the moose are in the viewing enclosure. An enjoyable nature experience for the whole family.

Buslandet Lagan

Let the kids have some fun during your car holiday with a visit to Buslandet Lagan, an indoor playground with activities and adventures for children aged 1-15. The younger members of the family can enjoy the slide, trampolines, ball cannons and a ball pit. Between fun and games, adults and children can order food and drinks in the café. The playground is located in the small town of Lagan, next to Laganland Moose Park in the centre of Småland. An ideal destination for those on a family holiday in Småland.

Höö Nature Reserve

Head out into the beautiful hilly surroundings of Höö nature reserve - an area in the middle of Lake Möckeln that's perfect for nature lovers and hikers. The former agricultural landscape offers both forests, meadows, wild flowers and exciting birds. Höö is easily accessible via a small bridge near Tångarna, and in addition to the beautiful green views over the lake.

Älmhult

IKEA was founded by Ingvar Kamprad as a mail order company in the small town of Älmhult in 1953. The first IKEA store opened here in 1958, and today more than a million people visit this original IKEA store every year. IKEA is actually an abbreviation of Ingvar Kamprad Elmtaryd Agunnaryd. Agunnaryd is the name of the farm and town where Kamprad grew up. At the IKEA Museum, you'll get a glimpse of the whole success story from the beginning in Älmhult and out into the world.

Stora Mosse nationalpark

Nature lovers should take a trip to Stora Mosse National Park. Here you'll find the largest untouched bog south of Lapland with fantastic birdlife. Hike on bridges and planks through the vast area while enjoying the silence.

High Chaparral

High Chaparral is a theme park with the Wild West as the main attraction. The park is located in the Gnosjö region of Småland, between Gnosjö, Anderstorp and Värnamo. At High Chaparral, visitors are part of the adventure, and a lot of exciting experiences await them, in a real Wild West scenario, with bison, train wagons, stagecoaches, Indians and cowboys and gold panning.

The park was built by Bengt Erlandsson, also known as Big Bengt. He grew up in a village that was marked by the emigration to the United States that took place in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. In 1956, Bengt visited the United States for four months, and in the early 1960s he started building a fort that looked very much like the ones he had seen in the States. In 1966, the newly established park opened its doors to the public and was given the same name as the popular TV series, High Chaparral, which had just been shown on television. Since then, the park, set in 50 acres of land with some 265 buildings, has been a popular tourist destination, especially for families with children.
