It is a nice 4 star hotel but the owner behaved like it was a 6 star hotel and she was trying to teach us how to behave-in her view.

Beautiful old hotel with a good room. However, the chairs on the balcony were too worn (there was a hole in the wickerwork). Good and very friendly staff everywhere.

A very nice hotel with friendly and personal staff who took very good care of us. Good breakfast and a nice 4-course dinner in the evening. The kitchen arranged very good gluten-free food for me. Comfortable beds and a nice cool room with AC. A good location to start from if you want to visit Pisa, Lucca, or Florence. Would gladly return again.

Nice central hotel with all the amenities one could wish for. Close to the train station where the train takes you to Pisa and Lucca, etc., in no time. The food was beyond expectations, but the breakfast was limited; I would have liked a bit more international breakfast, but you can't have everything😀 we stayed at the hotel for 7 days and are very satisfied!

Super cozy older hotel, very helpful staff, and wonderful and delicious food. Very clean and nice. Located within walking distance to the best things in the city, but still in the quiet end even though it's by the road, it's quiet inside the building.
Fixed table at meals and a super nice terrace by the road with new furniture so drinks can be enjoyed in the afternoon and evening.
We had 3 nights and it was perfect for seeing the city and the area. The best recommendations from here.

Nice, clean, and cozy hotel with a good location. We quickly felt at home and like part of the "family" :-), and the location is perfect if you want to take trips in Tuscany. Also, a cozy town that should definitely be enjoyed, and don't miss a trip up to Alto Montecatini-Terme with the cable car.
There was a good and calm atmosphere at the hotel, and absolutely fantastic and excellent service and helpfulness everywhere, and the food was varied and good. We were surprised that we received a menu every evening and could choose between several dishes, and it was wonderful that we got to taste things from the local area. Overall, we had a fantastic good week, and we would love to return again another time. A huge thank you to Hotel Puccini for helping to give us a memorable holiday.

The hotel is an older but very well-maintained hotel. It is clean and tidy everywhere. The dinner was surprisingly good for the price, and the service from all employees was top-notch. The breakfast is "Italian," meaning many cakes, and some dry white bread, fruit, yogurt, etc., and lovely coffee. The hotel has a good location in Montecantini Terme, a bit off the center, but close enough that you can walk to everything in the small town. There is a lovely sheltered "sofa-terrace" on the sidewalk, where you can enjoy an extra cup of morning coffee, a glass of wine before dinner, or a drink before bedtime.

Montecatini Terme
The centuries-old spa town of Montecatini Terme is located in the Valdinievole Valley. The small town is the largest spa town in Tuscany. It was founded in the 8th century and has a very turbulent history. Montecatini Terme was ruled by the principalities of Lucca, Florence and Sienna and was influenced by Lorraine in the 18th century. This lovely town is pleasant to explore on foot.
The healing springs of Montecatini have a beneficial effect both internally and externally. The nine spas of Montecatini are visited by about two million tourists every year.
Villa Stabbia
Take a drive and visit Danish Tine who, together with her Italian husband, runs a large olive farm just outside Montecatini Terme. If you want to stop by the beautiful villa and taste the good olive oil, send an email to Tine and ask when she is available for a visit. It is possible to buy the delicious oil to take home!
See the following link for more information: http://www.villastabbia.it/Eng/Home-Eng-Villa-Stabbia.php.
Montecatini Alto
From Montecatini Terme you can take the funicular railway up to Montecatini Alto, which is surrounded by city walls with 6 gates. Behind the city walls there is a cozy square with several restaurants and cafes. This is a wonderful place to have lunch and enjoy the cozy small town.
Giardino Zoologico di Pistoia
This zoo in Pistoia is a 7-hectare park housing more than 400 animals - a number that is constantly evolving. In this breathtaking garden there is a great focus on the dissemination of knowledge in relation to the protection of animals and respect for the planet. The park's official vision is to raise awareness of the importance of biodiversity on Earth and its impact on mankind.
Lucca
Take a driving holiday in Europe and head to Tuscany in Italy. Find a cheap weekend break for the whole family or plan a longer summer or winter break in Italy. Find a cheap road trip with Risskov BIlferie and explore a little north of Pizza. Lucca is the perfect size for a one-day getaway. The city is surrounded by a huge 16th century city wall, designed to protect the rich Lucchese from neighbouring towns. Today, the wall is a public park with small green oases all around, from which you can enjoy a fine view down on the city. It is recommended to rent a bike and ride around the wall. Explore the cosy little streets and discover many fine restaurants if you venture deep into the alleys. The cityscape is generally characterised by tall towers, which were built by the city's influential families - the taller a tower, the richer a family. The city has a wealth of museums, including a Puccini museum, as the composer was born in the city. Find a cheap holiday in the south at Risskov and get away on a family holiday filled with beautiful scenery and plenty of experiences.
Pisa
A visit to Campo Miracoli is one of the great experiences in Pisa. It is almost a miracle to see the beautiful buildings: the cathedral, the baptistery, the cemetery building and then the bell tower "the Leaning Tower of Pisa" standing side by side. Of course, the great experience is the "Leaning Tower" where, after a long and costly renovation, you can once again climb the 294 steps to the top at 55 metres, from where you have a wonderful view of the area.
The Leaning Tower of Pisa
Discover the distinctive and world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. Built in 1173, the tower briefly stood straight up. However, it wasn't long before, as a result of slightly too soft soil and inadequate foundations, it began to lean. At its highest point, the tower reaches about 56 metres. The tower has an inclination of 3.97° and in the 1990s was the subject of threats by the Italian mafia to blow it up.
Florence
A visit to Florence offers many great experiences. One of the most important sights is the beautiful Renaissance building Palazzo Medici-Riccardi and the Medici family church San Lorenzo, where the Danish Niels Steensen is buried. The church is picturesquely situated by the old leather market. The impressive three-coloured cathedral complex with the campanile, the octagonal baptistery with the bronze doors and of course the cathedral itself with Brunelleschi's breathtaking and dizzyingly large dome are worth a visit. These are just a few of the many impressive buildings Florence has to offer.
Florence Duomo
The Cathedral of Florence is the largest brick cathedral in the world and is visible from many miles away, giving it a prominent place in the cityscape. You can climb to the top of the church and enjoy stunning views over the city's rooftops. The exterior of the church is dominated by marble in three colours, and is an overall stunning sight.
