Perhaps families with small children should be placed closer to each other, there was a lot of noise from the small children early in the morning.

Friendly staff and nice common areas, but the room was somewhat worn. The terrace door was almost impossible to open and the windows looked neglected. Garden chairs were broken.

Good for the price. However, the organisation of the buffet and especially the breakfast buffet can be easily improved, so that, for example, bread is not missing.

An excellent hotel, and despite the really many guests, very peaceful. But the kitchen was not up to par, as one should expect. Most of the dishes that were served were very neutral in taste. For example, they served tartlets with chicken and asparagus, totally without flavour, but with a very small sprinkle of salt and pepper, it was fine. At the breakfast table, they should label what is coffee and milk, not just two containers. Their bread was completely without a crispy crust, and extremely doughy. I mentioned my comments about the kitchen to the reception when I left. Because of the poor kitchen, I will probably choose another place next time.

Truly worth a visit. The room was clean, neat, and there was plenty of space.
Breakfast buffet: there was absolutely everything that should be there.
Evening buffet: Never have we experienced such a delicious "summer buffet", and it was constantly replenished.
Staff: sweet, friendly, and helpful.
Clearing and servicing: The lovely "girls" (2 of them) who were working themselves to the bone should receive a prize.

We were pleasantly surprised by both the room, the food, and the service.
Moreover, it was a very reasonable price for our 3 nights.
We will definitely come again and certainly recommend it to others.

Prison Museum Horsens
Go on a car holiday in Denmark and discover the Danish countryside with Risskov. Find a self-drive holiday to Horsens and take a tour of the old Prison Museum and get a unique insight into life behind the thick walls of the historic building in Horsens. The tour takes in the cells and the infirmary and isolation wards. Then there's a biker gang, a schoolroom and a prison church.
Experience prison life as both prisoners and staff have known it for more than 150 years. But one thing that everyone has been able to hear over the years has been the slamming iron doors and locked gates. But that hasn't stopped prisoners from escaping, hear the stories of those who tried.
The prison also organises events and concerts. Find family-friendly hotels in Horsens and take the whole family on a self-drive experience with Risskov.
The Museum of Industry
This exciting Special Museum covers everything from production to living conditions and financial development after the 1850s. The very interesting collection gives a good impression of the very rapid development that industrial society has undergone in the last many years. There is also a part of the large exhibition covering radio and television production. Make your way past the six workers' residences, built and furnished in different eras. There's an intriguing selection of artefacts scattered across the museum's 6,500 square metres, tucked away in the old gas and electricity works.
Café Gaslight is attached to the museum and here you can relax after the tour. Try their great coffee or one of the delicious dishes on the menu. Take a weekend break in Central Jutland and visit this exciting museum.

Silkeborg Bird of Prey Show and Bison Farm
The absolute best way to experience the beautiful eagles, extremely fast falcons and very agile hawks. Both entertaining and unconventional, the shows demonstrate the incredible flying and hunting instincts these birds of prey possess. Try holding a bird of prey or owl yourself. They can appear larger on the arm than when flying around in the higher air and look like grey sparrows. Afterwards, there is the opportunity to explore the 'Owl Forest' and meet the world's largest owls, which nest in the trees. Then try to find your way out of the forest through the maze of paths, not always easy.
Also meet the magnificent bison. Take the tractor-trailer ride and hear the strange and amazing story of the bison's migrations and how it was vital to the Indians' survival and eventually wiped out by the white man.
An exciting trip for both children and adults interested in birds of prey and bison in the middle of nature's own open-air scene.

You'll also find fun sea creatures, such as sea lions, and don't miss Denmark's largest dinosaur exhibit, with over 40 life-size specimens. The day will easily disappear when you are at Givskud Zoo.
Sky Mountain
Go on a cheap car holiday to Central Jutland and climb Himmelbjerget and experience the magnificent scenery. Himmelbjerget is 147 metres high and has attracted thousands of tourists since the 1800s.
