About the hotel
Hotel New Skanpol's history has been linked to Scandinavia since its inception. The building was constructed in collaboration with Swedes and the hotel's name is composed of two names: SKAN-dinavien and POL-en. About 40 years ago the hotel was taken over by Danish investors.
The hotel reception is open 24 hours a day. There are 6 floors and 188 rooms.
You can enjoy your meal at the restaurant Skandynawia from 18:00-20:00 or a drink at the Bar Jensen which offers more than 70 different alcoholic drinks (excluding wines). Also the most famous Kolobrzeg's restaurant Sublima invites you with a'la carte dishes, created by the Andrzej Jakomulski, one of Poland's top kitchen chefs. The hotel's cafe offers homemade cakes, baked from natural products and using only traditional recipes. A cup of tea or coffee goes well with this and the hotel cafe also has a good selection.
You are free to use the hotel's swimming pool with sauna, steam bath and whirlpool or the fitness room. There is also the option to purchase various treatments in the SkanpolSPA wellness centre.
You can also swing in the nightclub UNDERGROUND in the lower floor which is open Fridays and Saturdays from 22:00 to 04:00.
Rooms
All rooms have a private bathroom, telephone and TV. They are approximately 22 m2 and face either west or east. The whole hotel area is no-smoking. You are allowed to bring your dog or cat on with you for a reasonable charge.

Henkenhagen (Ustronie Morskie)
Ustronie Morskie is a town in northwestern Poland, about 14 km from Kołobrzeg. This is the seat of the local council, but there is also a spa and a 10 km long sandy beach. The castle dates from the 14th century, and is the only Gothic castle on the Baltic coast of Poland. Since its construction, the castle has been modernised several times. From the castle tower you can enjoy a beautiful view over Darlowo town and the countryside.
Today the castle is a museum where you can discover sculptures, weapons, pictures, old maps and much more from the castle's long history.

In Kołobrzeg you can enjoy a beach holiday and beautiful beaches. It is a cosy harbour town where you can easily go for a walk and enjoy life in the beautiful town. The city is rich in history, having existed since the 10th century. In addition, there have been many historical events in the city, such as the Thirty Years' War and the Second World War. There are a number of buildings and monuments in the city - the cathedral and the town hall are must-sees. In the summer, the long sandy beaches turn the town into a paradise and people flock there.
Koszalin
Koszalin is located in Poland, on the Baltic Sea, and is often called the "Green City" as there are several parks in the city and there is plenty of forest and nature around the charming town.
