Friedrichstadt

Friedrichstadt looks very much like a typical Dutch canal town. That's why this romantic little town is called "Little Amsterdam". The town was built by the Dutch in 1621, where the rivers Ejderen and Treene flow together. Picturesque serrated gables and beautiful facades are reflected in the canals, and the houses are filled with carvings on doors and windows. The Dutch emblazoned the winding streets of the town, which intersect.

Toenning

Throughout its history, Tönning has repeatedly demonstrated its ingenuity and skill. With the Multimar Wattforum, they have once again created something unique in Schleswig-Holstein - a perfect combination of nature, knowledge and entertainment. The experimental exhibition playfully illustrates life in the Wadden Sea and its surroundings. It is a draw for the whole country and is also important for the Schleswig-Holsteinisches Vadehav National Park.

Husum Harbour Days/Husumer Hafentage

With the right timing and planning you can, on your mini or family holiday in Husum, experience the fantastic "Husumer Hafentage", which is the biggest folk festival in the town of Husum. This includes the Hafentage fun run, a Ferris wheel and a craft market in the castle courtyard. The traditional tug of war on the outer harbour is also very popular. Husum

Westerhever Fyrtårn

Westerhever Lighthouse is a major landmark in the Eiderstedt landscape and has been in use for more than 100 years. From the top of the 41.5 meter high lighthouse you have a fantastic view of the Wadden Sea and the North Sea.

St. Peter-Ording

Explore the village of St. Peter-Ording in North Frisia, where you'll find 12 kilometers of paradise-like sandy beach, woodlands and large dunes. The area has been inhabited since the Viking Age and is a very popular excursion destination.

Büsum

Go on a beach holiday to Büsum for a real family holiday. Büsum is a very visited town and numerous tourists come year after year to the town. Find a cheap holiday at Risskov and drive to Büsum. Not many people know that just 400 years ago the town was located on an island - in the middle of the Wadden Sea. Only towards the end of the 1500s did Büsum become landlocked as a result of natural land reclamation.
