Cozy and charming hotel in the middle of Bruck town. The hotel clearly shows its history, and you feel comfortable in the rooms and the hotel's interior and exterior surroundings.

Everything was average, but the morning lady was not in the best mood and was at times somewhat grumpy and snappy.

The staff was not nice and helpful. Unpleasant reception and very stressful check-in.

Family-owned hotel in beautiful surroundings. Good breakfast if you were there early, otherwise "vacuumed" for everything except the basics. Dinner VERY traditional - could be more exciting.

Very good choice if you want affordable accommodation, simple but clean and the food is ok, the staff are nice. Close to everything. Good connections to everything if you travel by train.

Good traditional hotel! Good room facilities from the 80s! Mostly foreign staff, but good communication! Good traditional food! Price/performance okay.

We felt very comfortable from the beginning. The food was very delicious and the staff very friendly and attentive.
The room was sufficiently large and had a balcony. The natural pool was also very nice.

Incredible good service, unfortunately I injured my leg so I had to go to the hospital Friday morning, they arranged for an ambulance, and when I came back around 10:30 they made sure I had a nice breakfast in the room. Not the holiday I had expected, not so exciting to sit in a hotel room, but they certainly can't do anything about that. Everyone was so sweet and helpful, I won't forget that, so the best rating from me. However, not too much information about where to sit and eat, as it was different almost every day.

Fully met our expectations. Good location with views of the city, mountains, pasture, and the river running through the town. Nice to have a parking garage. Friendly and accommodating staff. We had half-board, but it's also nice that there is the possibility to buy food, lunch, etc., throughout the day. There is an elevator and a lovely balcony in the newest section. A very atmospheric hotel in terms of decor.

St. Johann im Pongau is located in the southern part of the state of Salzburg and is the capital of the Pongau county. The city is known throughout Austria for its beautiful hiking trails and as an ideal place for a skiing holiday. St. Johann is located in the Salzachtal, which is the largest valley in Salzburg. The small town is a tourist destination for outdoor enthusiasts, but also hides sights such as the beautiful cathedral, which certainly deserves a visit. Visit this charming little town surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery Salzburg has to offer.
Liechtenstein Gorge
Liechtensteinklamm is one of the Alps’ most dramatic natural attractions, located near St. Johann im Pongau in Salzburg. This gorge stretches roughly 4 km long with canyon walls rising up to 300 m high—some sections narrow to just a few meters. Visitors can explore a 1 km accessible pathway of wooden walkways, bridges, tunnels, and the impressive 30-meter “Helix” spiral staircase added after recent renovations. The trail leads to a waterfall and offers views that feel both powerful and peaceful thanks to misty air, mossy cliffs, and cascading streams.
Suspension bridge at Stubnerkogel
On the Stubnerkogel "hangs" the infamous suspension bridge, 140 metres long and with a drop of over 28 metres. The bridge hangs 2400 metres above sea level, making it Europe's highest suspension bridge. The bridge is transparent and can take anyone's breath away and is not at all recommended if there is a fear of heights among family members. There's a bit more solid ground underfoot on the Glocknerblick viewing platform; enjoy the fresh mountain air in your lungs and let your eyes wander over the rugged and mountainous landscape, but remember your camera to capture the beautiful views.
The ice caves in Werfen
The Werfen ice caves are the largest in the world, and here you can experience the mountains in a whole new way. You'll see ice palaces of crystal-clear beauty, which even on hot summer days are an ice world. The network of passageways in the caves stretches for over 42 km, the largest of which, about 1 km long, has several huge ice figures. A perfect destination for a driving holiday in the Austrian mountains.
