Segonzano

Segonzano is a small town with about 1500 inhabitants, located 25 km. from Trento at an altitude of 430 to 1542 meters. The area extends over the extensive hills of Dosso di Segonzano and Ceramont. There are 15 fractions on the slopes and hills, which you can find in rather different environments.

Vineyards and mountains dominate the lower part of the town, so it is no wonder that the citizens here make their living from agriculture, mainly in the wine industry.

In Segonzano it is worth discovering the miracle of nature called the Pyramid. It has elegant columns and a height of 20 metres, the top of which is partly crowned by a large stone. Segonzano has experiences for everyone who loves to stay outdoors, this stagnant nature would be a pity to miss.

Trento

The city of Trento is the capital of the autonomous province of Trento, located in the Trentino-Alto region. Here you can enjoy the urban impulses and get some variety to the many scenic experiences. Castello del Buonconsiglio

The Buonconsiglio Castle has the status of the most important castle in the entire region. It has a history as the residence of princes and bishops and today stands as Trento's major landmark. Today, the castle also houses a museum that hosts a number of successful exhibitions every year.

The MUSE

This amazing science museum was created in 2013, when the Trentino Autonomous Region asked the famous architect Renzo Piano (among others the architect behind the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris) to help transform an unused industrial area of about 19,000m² into - not just a museum, but a place to reflect on the relationship between man and nature. And so this beautiful building came into being and the museum very quickly became a great success - so great, in fact, that the museum, the only one in Italy, earned honourable mention at the 2015 Museum of the Year Awards.
