Nice to have a newly built hotel where everything is bright and lovely. Friendly staff, especially at the reception. Really good dinner. Breakfast okay - but not overwhelmingly amazing - we sensed poor chemistry among the staff - especially the breakfast team.
Hope you figured out why upon departure we were attempted to be charged the full amount, when we had prepaid you for accommodation, breakfast, and a two-course dinner - but all in all, we were satisfied with the stay :-)

Carolinensiel
Carolinensiel is a holiday and seaside resort in the town of Wittmund, located right on the German west coast and the North Sea in Lower Saxony. The area belongs to "Ostfriesland" and was founded as far back as the 16th century. Over the years, Carolinensiel has developed into an extremely popular holiday resort, packed with holiday homes, sandy beaches and a myriad of spas and activities. Some of the most popular options include hiking in the East Frisian Wadden Sea, the museum harbours "Die Drei Häfen" and a visit to the exciting island of Wangerooge, which lies off the coast.
The Three Ports
Right in the centre of Carolinensiel is the "Alte Hafen" also known as the "Museumshafen", with the historic flat-bottomed sailing boats.
