Pleasant environment with nice walking paths. Nice lakeside sauna by the river, unfortunately without a shower. Missed having a TV in the room, which was otherwise large and had comfortable beds.

Beautiful place, very good food. Nice rooms and friendly staff. You can't find a better place. A big + to Riskov who called and pointed out that check-in was between 2-3 PM despite it being written in the confirmation. THIS IS WHAT I CALL SERVICE. Have traveled with Riskov for many years and there have never been any problems. We have recommended Riskov to many friends.

We are very pleased with the experience. Wonderful location with beautiful surroundings, nice spacious rooms, good breakfast and dinner. Gysinge Herrgård, a fantastic place, must be experienced in person. The staff at the Reception is an example of how service should be. This also applies to the serving staff in the beautiful Orangeriet. But unfortunately, despite all the positive reviews, I cannot recommend our friends to visit this gem via Risskov! The food... meatballs and mashed potatoes on day one and the driest almost inedible chicken on day two. We switched the food on day one to an a la carte menu option and on day two we gave up after two bites of the dry chicken. Marketing this beautiful Manor with the substandard dinner options is completely incomprehensible. The staff in both the Reception and the Dining Room wanted us to express our opinions about the dinners in writing to both Risskov and Gysinge Herrgård's management, and we will do so in addition to this post on this page.
