Elite Hotel Savoy Malmö

Elite Hotel Savoy Malmö is set in a charming building in the centre of Malmö, just opposite Central Station. The hotel is inspired by the classic atmosphere of one of Sweden's oldest and most famous hotels. There is also a Gastropub in the same building as the hotel, The Bishops Arms, which has one of Sweden's largest ranges of beer and whisky. It also serves a popular menu of English classics such as fish n' chips. The hotel's location in central Malmö means restaurants, great shopping and museums are just around the corner.

About the hotel

The hotel is located in the centre of Malmö, right opposite the main train station, and has a long and rather celeber history. Many famous personalities such as Judy Garland and Sammy Davis Jr. have stayed at the hotel over the years, and both Fritiof Nilsson Pirate and Sten Broman had a regular table in the restaurant.

The hotel has 2 restaurants and 2 bars, and each morning a generous buffet breakfast is served in one of the restaurants. The Savoy Grill restaurant is run by a culinary duo who want the restaurant to once again be the meeting place in central Malmö that it once was. The restaurant has an open kitchen in the middle of the room where most of the dishes are prepared and is open every day except Sundays. Bicycles can be borrowed from the hotel on request and then you can get out and explore Malmö. Parking is available about 200 metres from the hotel for a fee, and of course WiFi is free during your stay.

Rooms

The hotel has 115 rooms, all of which are beautifully decorated. Standard rooms have 140 cm wide beds with views of Adelgatan, Norra Vallgatan or the courtyard. All rooms have their own fully equipped bathroom with hairdryer, a work area, minibar and TV. Tea and coffee making facilities are also available in the room. Pets are allowed in some rooms for a fee and must be booked in advance.
