Kreuzenstein Castle

Museumsquartier
Museumsquartier is a 60,000 m² area in Vienna's Historic City Centre and is one of the world's largest cultural areas. Among some of the area's beautiful buildings are as many as eight cultural institutions, including the Leopold Museum, the Architekturzentrum Wien, the Kunsthalle Wien and MUMOK (MUseum MOderner Kunst). The latter houses works by Andy Warhol, Picasso and Roy Lichtenstein, among others.
Natural History Museum Vienna

The themes range incredibly widely, but the museum's main areas of interest are the origins of the solar system, the evolution and development of life on Earth, and prehistoric traditions and customs. Belvedere Castle
Belvedere is a colossal Baroque palace complex located southeast of Vienna's Historic City Centre. The Belvedere Palace itself is divided into a lower and an upper part, with magnificent gallery and museum exhibits stretching from the 17th century up to the present day. The stunning Belvedere Palace Garden is one of Europe's most significant historic gardens and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
St. Stephen's Cathedral
Located on Stephansplatz in the heart of Vienna's Historic City Centre, St Stephen's Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral dating from 1147. Today, the church is Vienna's most important religious building, welcoming almost 3 million visitors each year. The cathedral's spectacular roof is laid with glazed ceramic tiles, also known as majolica, and makes for quite a sight.
Hundertwasser House
Take the train or car to the centre of Vienna and walk along the beautiful streets. Famous for its beauty and architecture, the city is an ideal destination for a city break or a long weekend break. One of the architectural highlights is the colourful and unique Hundertwasser Haus designed by artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser in the Landstrasse district. In contrast is Hundertwasser Village, a shopping centre designed by the same artist and built in an old tyre workshop. The centre attracts 1.2 million visitors a year. Here you can enjoy modern art or sit and have a snack or drink in a cafe or restaurant. In the Kunst und Café on the ground floor of the Hundertwasser Haus you can also watch a film that takes you on a tour of the Hundertwasser Haus. A few hundred metres away is the KunstHaus Wien, also designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
Christmas market in Vienna
From November until Christmas, Vienna is transformed into a magical Christmas landscape, where the smell of baked goods and hot mulled wine create a wonderful Christmas atmosphere. One of the better-known Christmas markets takes place on City Hall Square, which is transformed each year into a glittering wonderland where Christmas gifts, tree decorations, sweets and heated drinks await the interested visitor.
Here you'll find carousels as well as traditional crafts and fun Christmas workshops for children, while the trees in the surrounding park glow with light, making even the biggest Christmas sceptic weak at the knees.
Also nearby is the cultural and Christmas market in front of Schönbrunn Palace, offering romance with an imperial backdrop. The atmospheric market offers traditional crafts, Christmas decorations and Christmas concerts, as well as an extensive programme for children, where they can also experience interesting Christmas workshops.
