The Toy Museum in Deventer is more than just a museum; it is a pure toy adventure land, and is both the children's favourite place in Deventer, and the place where the adults come to relive their memorable childhood. Visitors can choose from several exhibitions, such as the doll's house exhibition, which presents doll's houses dating from 1850 to the present day. Another exciting exhibition is the "Play with your eyes" exhibition, which shows optical toys of different kinds and ages and takes you back to a bygone era before TV and the Internet. With the exception of Monday, the museum is open every day from 11am to 5pm.
