About the hotel

At Hotel Gyllene Hornet, you can experience a combination of relaxation and an active mini-break. Enjoy the hotel’s relaxation area with a heated indoor pool, or work out in the gym and play mini-golf.

Here you stay in the idyllic village of Tällberg, which has much to offer during a road trip in Dalarna! Experience the beautiful nature and traditional wooden houses or take part in one of the many cultural activities the area is known for. The hotel has a long tradition and was inaugurated in 1951 but has since been renovated several times.

About the hotel

Hotel Gyllene Hornet is located in Dalarna, in the heart of Tällberg, and offers plenty of activities for the whole family, both indoors and outdoors.

Relax in the heated pool and enjoy time in the sauna. There is also a shallow pool for the youngest guests. The hotel has its own sports hall where various activities such as floorball, basketball, and an obstacle course can be enjoyed. There is also a gym, mini-golf course, and tennis court.

In the lobby, you will find a TV as well as social activities such as billiards and board games.

In the restaurant, a generous breakfast buffet is served, along with a two-course dinner or buffet on selected days.

Rooms

The hotel has a total of 60 rooms. All rooms are equipped with free WiFi, shower, toilet, and TV. The rooms are non-smoking.

Rooms are available in the main building for 1–4 people, as well as in separate cabins nearby.

If you wish to bring your pet, special pet-friendly rooms are available – please contact the hotel in advance.
