Just 100 kilometres from the German-Danish border, you can experience the Christmas market in Neumünster. Get into the festive spirit, shop for Christmas gifts and savour delicious seasonal treats. The town's streets and charming lanes offer wonderful experiences for visitors of all ages beneath the dark December sky.

From late November until just before Christmas, Neumünster hosts one of Schleswig-Holstein's cosiest Christmas markets. With sparkling lights, an ice-skating rink and beautifully decorated stalls selling festive treats, the town is a delightful destination in December. Browse a wide selection of traditional handicrafts, including ceramics and wood carvings. Every weekend, various Christmas events provide entertainment for both children and adults.

Neumünster is particularly worth visiting between November 19 and December 23, when an additional Christmas market takes place at the Stockseehof estate.
