Vissenbjerg Storkro

Only 20 km from Denmark's 3rd largest city, Odense, is the small village of Vissenbjerg where you can visit the cosy big inn with a homely atmosphere. The inn is set in lovely green surroundings and not far from scenic areas. Here you can enjoy an inn stay and a cosy mini-break in a quiet setting, from which you can easily get to all of Funen's many nature experiences and exciting attractions. 

About the hotel

Hotel Vissenbjerg Storkro is one of the small village's landmarks and the inn has welcomed guests for many years. The inn has a philosophy called; happy employees create good environments and a good service in daily life.

The on-site restaurant serves seasonal specialties made with fresh vegetables. Dinner is served between 18:00 - 20:30.

After a day filled with experiences, you can go to the hotel's living room with billiards, darts, table tennis, table football and beer/water machine etc. or read the daily newspaper at the reception. For golf enthusiasts, there is a discount on green fee at selected Funen golf courses. You can learn more about this at the hotel on arrival.

Free parking is also available at the hotel. It is possible to buy admission at a discount to several local attractions – including Terrariet Vissenbjerg, Denmark's Birds Zoo, Egeskov Park & Castle, Odense Zoo, Den Fynske Landsby, M/S Helge and the Danish Railway Museum. Please ask at reception. 

Rooms 

All the comfortable rooms are decorated in bright colors with en-suite bath, toilet and TV. All rooms offer views of the surrounding natural areas. Free internet is available in the rooms. The inn has a small number of smoking rooms. If you bring a dog, you will automatically be assigned a smoking room.
