They only get 4 as we had challenges with the air conditioning that they couldn't solve, which affected our sleep.
Or a good experience.

The hotel was very nice with incredibly friendly staff. Everyone was helpful and offered assistance almost before you had a chance to ask for it. The room was good and there was good air conditioning. This was important as the temperature outside was approaching 40˚.

Points of interests
Montepulciano
The wine town Montepulciano is definitely worth a visit. Built on a narrow volcanic ridge this town is one of Tuscany's highest medieval towns. A visit to one of Tuscany's most famous wine towns should include a sample tasting at the famous Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
Bagni di San Filippo
A driving holiday in Europe always offers a lot of experiences. So enjoy a cheap weekend break in Tuscany, Italy. Visit the ancient spa town of Bagni di San Fillippo which is most definitely recommended for an excursion. Here you can take a walk in the beautiful forest and see the white waterfall " Fosso dell'Acqua Bianca". Here the water has formed stalactite-like formations and plenty of natural pools where you can bathe in the "healing" waters free of charge. A very peculiar and beautiful place. Treat yourself to a pampering trip and discover the beautiful Tuscany in Italy and get a little wellness holiday at the same time.
Pozzo di San Patrizio
St Patrick's Well was built in 1527 at the request of Pope Clement VII. The fountain was designed by Antonio da Sangallo the Younger. The purpose of the well was to supply water to the city in the event of a siege.
The well was named after St Patrick, as it was very similar to the cave St Patrick used to pray and meditate.
The well's ingenious design uses two opposing doors with a spiral staircase going down to the water, a total of 248 steps, but built in such a way that downward traffic with mules and donkeys never meets the upward traffic as the stairs go in opposite directions, quite ingenious.
Museo Etrusco "Claudio Faina"
The exciting museum originally started with 34 vases donated to Count Mauro Faina and later inherited by his brother Claudio Faina. Since then, the collection has grown and a trip up to the second floor is an exciting historical journey back in time to the Etruscans, an advanced people who lived in Etruria in northern Italy from 800 BC until around 300 BC.
There is also a collection of ancient coins and vases and jars from Chiusi and elsewhere, as well as three impressive amphorae painted by Exekias, who was known for his beautiful decorations on vases and amphorae.
Orvieto
Orvieto had its heyday in the Middle Ages and many popes sought shelter in the city. In the centre of the city you will find one of Italy's largest and most beautiful cathedrals. The townspeople paid for the building of the church for almost 300 years before it was completed around 1600, and when you take a closer look at the facade and the colourful paintings in the church, you'll understand why. Beneath the city lies a spectacular experience - a visit to Citta Sotterranea. You can go down into the excavated passageway system, which for hundreds of years was used as a cellar for storing food and the city's fine wines. You can also visit the city's round tower, which houses the well of St Patricius. Follow a spiral staircase 62 metres down to the bottom of the well, which was consecrated by the Pope in 1529.
Perugia
Perugia seems to stretch endlessly over the hill on which it has stood for more than 2500 years. Perugia was founded by a local people called Umbrians, then developed by the Etruscans and Romans and perfected by the aristocracy and artisan laity in the Middle Ages. Move behind the city walls to the old medieval centre "centro storico". The beating heart of the city is Piazza IV Novembre. Enjoy a stroll along the city's main street, Corso Vanucci, through the narrow alleys and ancient aqueducts.
Siena
Be surrounded by architectural splendour in Siena. The city is almost an open-air museum of Gothic buildings, ancient churches and art. Walking around the streets of Siena is like travelling back in time to Italy's pre-Renaissance history.
Chianciano Terme
Chianciano Terme is an exquisite spa town located in southern Tuscany. Located 550 metres above sea level, the town offers numerous spas, as the water is said to have a healing effect. The town is surrounded by the most beautiful countryside with countless green areas and it is considered today as one of the best spas in Europe.
Enjoy a walk in the old town, soaking up the Italian atmosphere and taking in the many interesting buildings. Set on a small hilltop, the old town enjoys a charm and atmosphere that can only be found in Italy. Parts of the old city wall can still be seen and you should also stop by the medieval bell tower.
The small town is set in beautiful surroundings and you can venture out on nature trails that are made for every nature lover. There are countless opportunities both if you want to go hiking or you can take your bikes on holiday and really explore the distinctive landscape.
