Was a bit disappointed as it stated 3 courses or buffet. We then saw when we arrived that on Thursdays it was roast pork and a soup for starters. But otherwise good and well-prepared food.

Great satisfaction and enthusiasm regarding the lovely staff, the food, the atmosphere and the location.
The only thing to note was that the air in the room felt a little stuffy upon arrival.

Nilles Kro offers peaceful surroundings and guarantees a relaxing stay in lovely green surroundings. The inn is located right next to the forest and it is also not far from Aarhus city centre.
About the hotel
The inn has a cosy lounge with lovely sofas and books on the shelves, ready to be taken down and read, as well as a bar where you can order a drink while reading or working. The newly added wing helps to give the inn a more modern feel, but by combining the original with the new to ensure that the traditional inn atmosphere was retained - Nilles Kro was originally a country inn, after all, and that spirit should be retained with hospitality and the place where everyone is welcomed.
Like all Danish inns, Nilles Kro also serves delicious food. Here we serve genuine kromad, based on good ingredients and made from scratch.
Free WiFi is available at the inn and parking is easy to find.
All types of stays at Nilles Kro can also be combined with golf, as there are many golf courses in the area, such as Marcusminde Golf Club and Lyngbygaard Golf, which also have green fees at reasonable prices thanks to agreements between Nilles Kro and the clubs.

Cosy inn with friendly service and good food. You can see that the inn is starting to show its age, and tidying up the outdoor areas by removing weeds from the paving/stones and doing a bit of refurbishment would probably be good. But there are nice hedges and lawns.
