About the hotel
Stay in beautiful surroundings by the sea in the holiday village of Grenå. The seaside hotel offers contemplation, relaxation and physical exercise. There is also plenty of opportunity to go on excursions to Djursland's No. 1 tourist town, Ebeltoft. But you can also walk/drive 1 km from the hotel and visit the interesting Kattegat Centre.
About the hotel
The coastal hotel was designed by Friis & Moltke and offers 13,000 m2 under one roof. The hotel's breakfast buffet is served every morning from 07:00 to 09:30. Free internet access is available in the hotel.
The hotel has periods without staff at check-in. In these cases, your key will be placed to the right of the reception in an envelope with your name on it.
In the reception area, there is a coffee/tea station where you as guests can always help yourselves free of charge.
If you are travelling with a dog, you will enjoy a quiet room wing where four-legged friends are cared for and not disturbed.
The hotel has a small TV lounge with the possibility to play billiards and table football. The coastal hotel is also surrounded by beautiful nature, with deciduous and coniferous forests that invite you to go for a long walk or a brisk run. The beach, the water and the view of the vast sky are only a stone's throw away. Here you can stroll along the beach or take a refreshing dip in the blue wave. If you prefer other forms of activity, the surroundings offer plenty of opportunities for that too. At reception you can get maps of various running and cycling routes around the area. There is also a fitness centre at the hotel. There is also a riding school, nature school, golf courses and sports halls within walking distance of the hotel. Free parking is available for hotel guests right outside the door.
Rooms
The 160 tasteful rooms feature original art and architect-designed furniture. All rooms have blackout curtains, a telephone, a 32-inch flat-screen TV with international channels and a large work desk. A maximum of 1 child can sleep in the parent's bed and 1 child in a private bed in the parent's room.

Hotel notes
The restaurant and bar from week 27 to 31 are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday. From week 32, the restaurant and bar are open Monday through Thursday.
The stay includes a final cleaning, which means that beds will not be made and towels will not be changed during the stay. New towels can be collected at reception, if required for a fee.
During the summer, a buffet is often served, including salads, roast buffet with several kinds of meat cut out.
Dinner is served on the day of arrival (if this falls on a closed day, the reservation will be moved to the next open day).
If you wish otherwise, please contact the hotel no later than 12:00 noon the day before to make a new reservation.
Dog fee is payable locally at the hotel, but dogs must be specified in advance when booking your stay and also you can only bring your pet to our Plus double room.

Lovely, quiet hotel in a good location. Good food and nice, clean rooms. Friendly staff. The only downside is that there is no kind of ramp to the room corridors for those with limited mobility, using a walking frame/wheelchair, or those with a pushchair. There are 8–9 steps up or down to the room corridors.
