The hotel is just north of the Südharz Nature Park, and from
the hotel, hiking trails lead you directly into the lush forests of the Harz. Another popular place is the Brocken mountain. Take the narrow-gauge railway to the top! If you fancy a bit of sightseeing, you'll find both Wernigerode,
Braunlage, Goslar and Bad Harzburg within a short drive. In addition, the UNESCO-listed Quedlinburg is another must see.

Hotel Tannenpark is a cosy and relaxed hotel where you quickly feel at home. Most of the rooms are furnished as apartments, so there is plenty of space and kitchen facilities.
The breakfast is truly delicious and plentiful.
The evening meals are equally tasty and varied. We had a buffet every day of our stay, with several choices of hot dishes each evening.
There will always be a few drawbacks, but they are minor things which I do not feel detract from the overall impression.

Far beyond expectations. Extremely lovely hotel, with super helpful and accommodating staff. There was everything you could desire for breakfast and a little more besides. The dinner was plentiful, delicious and well-prepared. And the apartment we got was huge and well-equipped, with a lovely balcony overlooking the fantastic nature. The area is exciting, with lots of sights. Probably the best "Value for money" we have experienced.
