The building has existed since 1660, and offers a unique historical atmosphere that has been carefully preserved to this day. Over the years, several prominent people have visited the cosy inn, such as H.C. Andersen, Sir Elton John, Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik.
The hotel's central location in the popular cobbled town of Mariager provides you with a great base for a holiday that is close to the fjord, Mariager Salt Centre, beautiful countryside and several other exciting towns in both central and northern Jutland.
A delicious and varied buffet breakfast is served every morning in a intimate setting, and the hotel serves evening meals in the cosy Krostue. In summer, the cosy terrace is the perfect place to relax with a cold beer or a glass of wine in the afternoon.
