This lovely hotel is located in the heart of the heart of Schleswig-Holstein and is perfect for a self-drive holiday south of the border. In addition to its strategic location for exploring the nearest towns, the hotel also has a really nice and cosy atmosphere, which, mixed with the hotel's beautiful surroundings, help to make this 4-star, family-run hotel both special and a bit of a find. The hotel goes to great lengths to ensure that every stay, short or long, feels both comfortable but also relaxing and straightforward, making it ideal for family stays.
About the hotel
Hotel Heidehof offers a lovely spa area with fitness equipment, where you can try out Finnish, infrared and a bio sauna.
The hotel boasts a sumptuous breakfast buffet served every day in homely surroundings accompanied by a really efficient and very smiley service, always ready to bring more coffee and to help with the positioning of the high chair. It is possible to order a light evening menu in the bar Monday-Friday from 18:00-21:30. Every day you can of course order a refreshing drink and enjoy each other's company.
The hotel is easy to find from the Autobahn A7 by turning onto the B203 near Rendsburg's Financial Centre. From the hotel there are also many opportunities for hiking in the beautiful natural areas surrounding the hotel. Ask at reception where they can orientate and suggest good hiking and cycling tours to ensure the whole family has a great experience in the beautiful countryside.

The hotel's lovely rooms are equipped with everything you need to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. Both cosy and spacious, the rooms come with WiFi and cable TV, as well as an in-room safe and a minibar. It is also possible to bring your pet with you, but please inform the reception first, as well as smoking in the rooms.

Everything is OK at Garni. But during our last visit, we were welcomed by 2 receptionists who acted particularly condescending, grumpy, and definitely not helpful. We have visited the hotel twice before with good memories. This time we were only staying one night, so maybe our luggage wasn't fancy enough for the two receptionists. The only thing we talked about that's missing is covered areas with shelter from the wind and protection from the rain.
