If you want to experience something, it's not a bad idea to stop by the small town of Otta. It has around 1,800 inhabitants and has been a natural crossroads in the area since the late 1800s, when the railway opened up the entire North Gudbrands Valley. Every year, Kristinspelet attracts many thousands of visitors, who can enjoy themselves at one of the many taverns or perhaps shop around in the town's boutiques.
